Growing up my favorite movie of all time was Ewoks Adventure. I hate the 80's but this movie made up for that horrible decade's existence. I loved the Ewoks. They are probably the coolest creatures ever! Just their mannerisms and faces are so cute... which makes this story so much better.
When Chris was five he wanted to be an Ewok for Halloween. His mom, who is an incredible seamstress, actually made the Ewok costume. Awesome, huh? Except she forgot to make the hood. So as Chris trick-or-treated around the neighborhood everyone thought he was a teddy bear. To this day he always says, "I was a fearsome Ewok. We destroyed the Empire!" Precious, huh?

ewoks are TOTALLY cute. that story makes me smile :) how humiliating to be called a teddy bear! i'm sure chris hasn't been the same since. this explains a lot :)
One year, I was Mother Nature. I made the costume myself. Everyone thought I was a tree. I was really annoyed. I won "most creative" after I wrote "Mother Nature" on my nametag. I never got my prize.......
