Black and Ivory and Brown All Over

My piano lessons began when I was merely four years old.  Throughout the years I took lessons, got tested on my theory, and played so many recitals that by the time I gave up piano for ballet I was more relieved than sad.  I rarely play at all now.  Except for Christmastime.  I love playing Christmas music on the piano because I think it's simply the best music ever.  With a glittering tree next to me and rain pattering outside, I could play Christmas carols all day long.

Have you ever taken piano lessons?  What's your favorite Christmas song?

I would love to hear you play! Unfortunately, I have no musical talent. So sad.

Don't play the piano, but my favorite Chrismtas Carols are:

We Three Kings
I Wonder as I Wander
Stars Were Gleaming
Coventry Carol

I took piano lessons from my mom from kindergarten-4th grade. After that I kind of took off on my own, but could always ask her if I needed help with something. Actually, I only started in kindergarten because she wouldn't let me start earlier. I love playing, especially Christmas music!
