After five failed attempts, Christopher and I are determined to write (and send out) Christmas letters. Do you send out Christmas letters? And if you do how do you decide who gets them? What kind of picture do you send out: funny or normal? And seriously: are email Christmas letters a no-no?

I never have and may never send out Christmas cards/letters. I feel like it's too much pressure on top of everything else.
I appreciate a good e-mail because you can attach more pictures. You can do the funny and normal but you don't get the cute card (that they'll only look at for a few weeks (or if you procrastinate, a day or two).
I just ordered our Christmas cards. Close friends and family are the only ones making the cut this year!
hmmm. in order of acceptability i would say: no letter, email, letter, surprise package in the mail, all inclusive trip to hawaii. good better best and bestest ya know? :) we opt for nothing most of the time. no stamps. no picture. no cute cards. the reasons go on and on and on. we have super duper terrific intentions though!
We usually do a holiday newsletter that includes a variety of photos. While we keep in touch with most of our friends and family through email and Facebook, it's nice to send out an overview of our year. This year though with Earl deployed I'm just sending a photo card out to friends and family. My list is about 50 people long. :) It's fun to get letters and cards in the mail but email works too. I keep all of the photos that are sent to me in a photo album.
Hey Tiffany, this is Danny. Long time no see or talk to. Just send email Christmas letters and say that you are trying to be more eco-friendly.
