Swim suit season is here and as I look around the pressure is on to be thin, fit, curvy, naturally beautiful, tan and and all around a stunning sight to behold on the beach. Although it is important to take care of your body, it is equally important to love it. So just in case any of us has gotten off the
Love Our Bodies bandwagon (guilty with my hand raised!) I'm giving you a friendly reminder to love your body as it is. Right now.
And in case you are having trouble embracing your beautiful body I challenge you to think of 5 things that you absolutely love about your body. Here are mine just to give you a little push:
~ I love my eyes and the fact that I have double eyelids.
~ I love that after only a few Pilates moves I can see definition in my belly.
~ I love my small hips. It means I can shimmy into smaller pant sizes.
~ I love the new definition in my calves from my summer heels. I can't believe they got even more muscular!
~ I love the freckle on my bottom lip. Hubby says it's very kissable!
What 5 things do you love about your body?

I love this!!!!
Hope :) xoxo
Such a great reminder, Tiffany. It's so easy to get negative and over-critical with ourselves. Will try to think of 5 things I appreciate about my physique, too. xoxo
This is a great reminder in the times of heat and fewer clothes!! As my thigh post suggested, many of us have hang ups. But you are right, it is important to appreciate our own bodies and love it for what it can do.
Haha, I remember having to go around the room in my Fashion Magazines class & telling everyone what we love about ourselves. Great post!
This is a great post!
good for you, it so sad when woman struggle to see beauty in themselves! i just love this :)

Hmmm...what five things do I love about my body?
1) I love my eyes.
2) I love my shoulders.
3) I love my legs.
4) I love my small hands - weird, I know.
5) I love the way I crinkle my nose when I laugh (that counts as something, right?).
Can I add a sixth thing? I LOVE THIS POST!! :)
Best post I've seen all day!! And you're right, when summer comes, we tend to only look at our flaws. I do it, I did it even today! But we need to knock it off! And be happy with what the good lord gave us ;-)
Thanks for the reminder Tiffany! I love:
my lips
my long fingers
that my ears are close to my head
that I tan easily
that I have a body that could carry & birth babies
Thanks for making me do that. I'm headed to the pool today.

I try to like everything more or less....Beautiful sweetie:)
Kisses and enjoy your day...You are beautiful!!!
1. I love that my body is strong and healthy
2. I love my blue eyes that have always been a strong focal point of my face and provide me with a view onto the world. (even if I need reading glasses to see some of that world now!)
3. I love my creative mind
4. I love my big open smile
5. I love my long fingers (even if they are becoming slightly arthritic).
gorgeous post...nice blog
I was just thinking the other day, "I'm sure glad it's not Love My Body week anymore" haha Post baby is always hard.
1. I love my figure...and amazed that I still have it after two kids
2. I love that I make enough milk to nourish my son
3. I love that I have a straight smile
4. I love that I still have freckles
5. I love the dimple I get in one of my cheeks!
You don't have to tell me twice I'm totally in love with myself :p

What a great reminder! :) Lovely post!
Aww, I like this post. It is so easy to get caught up in self-improvement that it's good to stop and be grateful for what we DO have.
5 things I love about my body:
1.) My crazy paleness. I used to hate it, but I've learned to love it because it's very rare and symbolic of my Irish roots.
2.) My green eyes, because they go yellow when I cry!
3.) My legs
4.) My bust
5.) My smile :D

Inspiring post.
I love my body because it works! And after being in a car accident, I never take that for granted. xx

I love my fair skin (which is why when I do go to the beach or head outdoors, I put lots of sunblock on).
I love my muscular legs (so much to show off in short season).
I love my belly (I don't care if it's not perfectly flat, it's perfectly Grecian statue).
I love my bust (enough said).
And I love that eating healthy and exercising makes me feel good and gives me confidence.
Sometimes hard to love with chronic pain and two babies but thanks for the reminder...
I love my blue eyes that change with my mood (but only those close to me seem to be aware of this)
I love my smile (never needed braces!)
I love my small hands too:)
I like my feet. When I wear sandals I always get compliments.
I love my (in comparison) small calves and ankles (I realized this when i got cankles with my first son)
what a great post. i can't answer this really because, unlike you, i don't love my body :( i totally do not mean that in a sarcastic way - you're a little hottie!
sometimes i have cute hair.
someone once told me i have cute toes
my nails are kinda nice
i don't have big ears
i think that's about it.
Sure, I'll give this a try. More difficult than it sounds :( But here you go. Thanks for the post!
I like my bust...it's proportional to the rest of me :D
I like my small (if high) waist.
I like my tiny feet (easier to find really high heels)
I like my hair (it grows quickly, so I can change it often, if I choose)
I like my tiny hands because I can fit my great grandmother's gloves :D
These are so great you guys! I'm going to need to write a post about your comments. Incredible!
I must admit: I have ocean blue eyes, I like being short (sometimes), I'm naturally thin & always have been, my hair is long & soft & shiny, and my body can do some pretty good dance moves. xx
Yay! Love my body! I love that it can, in fact, let go of weight!
could i think of 5 things i love? i don't know! but i am happy to be alive nonetheless!
what i DO love is after working out with weights and doing some squats, my legs feel like oak trees! strong and pumped! instantly! it is bizarre. but it is nice. :)
Awww, this is a great post! I'm down with my feet, I have good feet! And I cut my hair short and have never been happier! Honestly, the older I get, the less I care about how I look, truly. It's awesome!
This post is exactly what I needed to read right now... I always get so self conscious this time of year but I have to remember no one is perfect!
Great post! I love my big green eyes. I love how easily my body gets toned, especially my arms. I love that I have long arms and legs. And I love my small bust because cleavage isn't everything. I love the gap in my front tooth.
I loved reading this post and everyone's comments--so encouraging!
Let's see, I love how my hands look with groomed fingernails, I love my feet, I love my big brown eyes, I love when I get freckles across my nose, and I love that my body moves! I'm so thankful for all I can do because my body works the way it should!
I agree! Let's love our bodies and eat healthy, drink lots of water and remember how it all starts from within :)
Love this!
Funny how it never seems to get old, to remember to appreciate your body for what it's worth and what it can do.
Some parts of it we like because of their beauty, some for their strength, others for their quirkiness and the fact that they set us apart.
All of us are beautiful.
I was at a sports banquet (as a guest! ha ha) just last night, and watching the girls was fun because of the variety in appearance. Girls are all different.
But every one of those girls was smiling in her pretty dress, and looked beautiful and happy.
No one thought the bigger girls were too big, or that the smaller girls were too small.
They each looked perfect for themselves, and that was fun to see.
Have a good weekend, girl!
I love this post. What a great reminder, thank you for that.
I love my eyes, because the hazel in them stands out whether I have makeup on or not.
I love my legs, because they are strong and toned and help me stand strong.
I love my arms, because I've worked so hard on them and it's finally (really) showing!
I love my bum, because although its small, I think its perfect with a little oomph from squats and lunges.
Last, I've got to go with Brandi. I love exercising and eating right not because of how it makes my body LOOK but because of how it makes my body FEEL.
This was super cool to write out:) Thanks again!
LOVE this, Tiffany. And everyone's responses.
I love my blue/green eyes that change colors.
I love my long legs that let me be tall.
I love my muscular calves that let me run and jump pretty high.
I love my triceps that are starting to show real definition thanks to all the yoga!
And I love my entire body and the fact that it is truly a healing and empowering system.
xoxo.
