Green Gables

Yesterday I watched Anne of Green Gables and now my head is swirling with green fields, wooden bridges, and kindred spirits.  I would love to visit Prince Edward's Island one day.  Who's with me?

Me! Take me with you! Anne of Green Gables was one of my favorite fictional friends when I was growing up, and I must have read them all a dozen times!

Aww I loved Ann of Green Gables! I almost forgot about it. Zombies wont be hard to miss. The face book page says there are 700+ confirmed zombies. Going to be crazy this 2nd sat!!

I've been twice- Once as a little girl with my parents- Magical- we did every tour and tea possible- and once with my husband- he was not as into it but humored me and I bought a lovely tea set from the shop.

It's been my dream to visit there someday. Too bad it's sooooo far away! There's something about summer that inherently makes me nostalgic for Anne and Avonlea!
