I'm Back!

The Repertory Dance Theater intensive is over and I can't tell you how much I loved it. Every moment was exciting and fun. You know how some things fall into place so well you almost feel like you're dreaming? That's how it was for me everyday for the last two weeks. I wish I could have stayed two more weeks but duty (and husband) called and I knew it was time for me to go home. All great things can't last forever, right?

The intensive for Dangerous Lorraines Dance Theater (the company I dance with) starts tomorrow so my mind and body has had two days to recover before gearing up for another round of dancing.  I love dancing with DLDT and I'm excited to get to know the new company members a little better.

Me during my first year with DLDT in 2007

I can't believe we are half way through the season.  My birthday month is just flying by and every part of me never wants to let this summer go.  It's filled to the brim with dancing, dancing, and more dancing.  I love it!

What's your summer filled with?
(by the way, I came home from the airport to a beautiful vase of red roses.  Thank you, Mr. Branflake!)

Aww- Mr. Branflake rocks- Dr J probably would not do that for me but he would have the house cleaned- which is no small feat when you live with monkeys!

I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed yourself; dancing non-stop sounds like a pretty incredible way to spend your time! And Mr Branflake sounds pretty darn sweet.

Maybe you should get him a bow tie to thank him...

I love the fact that your summer has been full of so much dancing, Tiffany; I would so love to see you perform live someday - I imagine you are amazing.

Thus far, my summer has been full of homework as I'm taking summer classes - but two more weeks and the semester is finally over!!

And YES!!! We SO need to go clubbing together!! :)

I love that you love what you do so much. That's just fantastic -- and I'm a wee bit jealous too, since I haven't figured it out yet. But I guess that's what my summer is for. I'm so happy you had such an incredible time and that there's more awesomeness on the agenda.
