Friday's Jumping Blogger Goes to the UK!

Hannah Joels from Hannah Ballerina is seriously making me want to take a holiday on the beaches of the UK.

In her own words:
"Whenever we go anywhere for a break, my husband always insists on getting pictures of me being silly and jumping around. I feel silly for, oh, about 30 seconds, then always really love it (despite self-conscious protestations!)... I hadn't returned to ballet at this point, but I've always loved jumping around, and my jump doesn't look half bad on this (just need to point my toes!). This photo was taken last summer at a beach in Norfolk (UK) which we both LOVE - bleak but beautiful, and perfect for kite flying and romantic walks. No wonder I look so happy!"

If you would like to be featured, just send in a photo of you dancing or jumping to tiffkaddy at hotmail.com.

When was the last time you had a romantic walk on the beach?
When was the last time you flew a kite on the beach?
(I honestly can't remember the last time I flew a kite in general.)

A few updates:
~I finally scheduled a follow up for the fracture in my wrist.  The appointment with the ortro is in a few weeks.  I'll keep you posted on how much damage I've done to it in the last month.  Eek!

As you know, I live not very far from the beach...I walk quite often with the dogs, my romantic buddies! As for kites, I should consider it soon. There are beautiful ones on the market these days~~~*
Hope your orto will give you some good news T!

I hope your wrist is okay!! You have kites to fly!!

I live a block or so from the beach and was just saying this evening that it's a bloody shame we haven't been out for a walk. Tomorrow afternoon's the plan!

Love this woman in the pics. Her story/feelings are so easy to relate to. Love that the hubs is all into the photo taking too! Very cute.

xoxo,
Carrie

Great photograph. I really must get to the beach, especially since I'm so close to all of the beaches in New Jersey right now. Maybe I'll propose the idea to my boyfriend that we go take a stroll on it this evening.

love this pic! the jumping photos are great for friday - they make me smile, friend.

and last time i took a romantic walk on the beach was last friday. and it wasn't anything mushy that we said to each specifically or that we did - it was just another reminder of how in love i was with my bf - which was wonderful since the next day, we got engaged. :)

happy friday!!

Walking on the beach is my favorite activity and I do it as often as possible. I prefer tropical beaches but any beach is wonderful. Love her jump for joy! I'm there.....

I think we should take a day trip to the beach. I don't think TJ and I have ever taken a "romantic" walk on the beach. (What's romantic?) We should also bring kites. Let's call San and make it happen!

Does it count if it was a lake? Then this summer. If a salt water beach then when we were in Jamaica.

I don't think I've ever flown a kite on the beach.

I have never had a romantic walk on the beach. Seriously. I think that boys are becoming less and less romantic - well, at least the ones I know are. :(

Flying a kite on the beach...well, that's another story. One of my favorite things to do!! :)

I want to go on a holiday like that!!!!

I don't think I've ever had a romantic walk on the beach. I haven't been to a beach since I was 6 years old (isn't that sad?!). Sooo.... no romantic walks there.

And I don't think I've ever flown a kite. I've made one though. And I hung it up. I didn't want to fly or take it outside...

I don't know why. I was a weird child.

:)

Best wishes,

~Zabrinah
