Signature Scent

I have worn the same wonderful Nina Ricci perfume for nine years.  It's floral, not too sweet, and very feminine.  Mr. Branflake says it's "my smell" and he always inhales deeply and smiles when I wear it.  When I wore it as a single lass I even received many compliments from men as they walked by (or stopped to chat!)  This scent just fits me, my body chemistry, and my style.  It's no surprise that Nina Ricci's clothing line suits me perfectly also.  Gloves, bows, and solid colors: this is so me!

Nina Ricci could easily frock a princess or a ballerina.  She is the epitome of feminine beauty, elegance, and slight extravagance.

Is she your style also?
Are you a one-scent kind of person or do you have a collection of perfume bottles on your boudoir?

Images are from Nina Ricci's Fall Winter 2010 Pre Collection found on Nina Ricci's website ninaricci.com.

I always return to Chanel allure. It's my scent, and even though I have recently bought chance eau tendre and was bought coco mademoiselle, nothing beats allure for me- it just works!
I'd just started a new bottle, which my mum bought me for my birthday and tragically, on Saturday I shattered it on the floor of a hotel bathroom. Completely gutted as I jave none left now! I'm just going to have to go and buy dome more or my essence will be lacking!
Must go and smell premier hour whilst I'm in the department store-I'm intrigued! Xx

Beautiful designs, I surely wouldn't mind having these clothes in my wardrobe. I've never smelled the perfume, but next time I'm in a department store...
I love Byredo's Pulp for day. In the evening I normally use another of their perfumes like Bal d'Afrique. Mmmmhh.

I used to only be a single scent girl, but recently I've picked up a second perfume and wear them each on different occasions (one is sweet & simple, the other sultry & sexy). But my bf says they're both my scents too & loves them both, fortunately :)
So I lean more towards the one-scent kind of person...plus one :)

I definitely have a collection - I wanted to have a signature scent but I get bored too easily. However, guys I have dated in the past and my hubby now all seem to have signature scents so that can either be a good or bad thing depending on the guy ;-)

These clothes are soo pretty! I don't wear perfumes too much (sensitivity to scents), but have been trying to get into scents more. My mum had Nina Ricci perfume - lovely, classic stuff here :)

Ooh, I totally want to be her. She is absolutely stunning! I have been true to the same perfume - Elizabeth Taylor's White Diamonds - forever. I just love the scent!

I actually started school again last week; but it's my last class before I finish my BA, so the coursework is pretty minimal - more like a refresher before graduation!! :)

I have alternated between the same three scents for years! Chance, J'adore and Be Delicious!

I'm a one-scent girl-Bulgari's thé vert. It's a unisex fragrance so it never gets to sweet on me, and I absolutely love it!

Hmm, I have been searching for my "signature scent" but can't seem to find one. Maybe I will try some of these suggestions from you and your readers! I do like the banana republic perfume - light, a hint of citrus and rose.

i accidently left my perfume bottle at my boyfriends hous, when i came back to retrieve it a week later it was nearly empty.
apparently he had been spraying it around as he felt like i was there when he smelt it. i told him that was very expensive air freshner...

I love that your perfume makes Mr. Branflake smile and sniff you! I love Marc Jacobs Daisy. I think it fits me pretty well and I get lots of compliments on it too. I have some others that I tend to rotate though - it's just fun for me to do so.

I used to wear Coco Chanel and loved it! But its a little too heavey for me know.. so I'm currently on the hunt for that next scent that sends me :)

I have a collection of over a dozen scents that I change daily.

It depends on my MOOD!

Oddly, I don't own a single bottle of perfume. I'm really sensitive to smells and even though I could probably handle wearing a perfume, I can never make it through the perfume section in such a coherent manner that I'd actually be able to buy one. My favorite scent (that I'd love to find again) is Egyptian musk. I love it because people never smelled it on me until I walked away.

I wear something for everyday and something else for especial occasions that is a bit more pricey... but i have to say they are both in the same place when it comes to scents... floral and soft... love the bottle of your perfume... it does reflect the design style of the house!

i have an allergy to most scents, boo, so i end up wearing vanilla body spray which is just light enough to make me smell pretty!

ps i LOVE your blog and have given you an award on my blog! hope that's alright! :)

I love love loveee nina ricci on so many levels. gorgeous everything!

I tend to stick with a perfume till I use up the whole bottle, but I love switching it up when choosing a new one. I'm a mega Chanel Chance and Kenzo Flower fan

What gorgeous, frilly, fifties-vintage style clothes!

I'm an Estee Lauder "Pleasures" girl myself :-)

You know what depresses the hell out of me? When a perfume is no longer available. They discontinue the scent. There was a Alfred Sung perfume I loved in the 90s, that I don't believe is available in stores anymore. A Paco Rabane perfume, I can only get on eBay. Who decides such things?

Today I wear Burberry Brit and Beat

Nina Ricci is such a great classic. I'm a Dior girl myself, just converted to Miss Dior Cherie! It was perfect fate, this perfume is definitely my new signature.
