I love cardigans. To date I own 15 cardigans that I wear regularly in various sizes, shapes, and colors. I pair them with everything and I cannot imagine my wardrobe without my faithful cardis.

Even though cardigans aren't the most high fashion thing a girl can buy (my friends sometimes call me a librarian), they definitely are a staple in most wardrobes for good reason. Cardigans have saved me from countless "nothing looks right on me days" and "I have nothing to wear days" because they shape, flatter, and add contrast. They also are a great cover up for those tops that are a bit, er, showy.

I don't have more than you, but I'm getting close! I love them! They make for great work attire when you don't know how cold or not cold it will be in the office. no trouble taking these things on/off! :]

YES i love cardigans! its still warm here in the south but i cant wait to be able to wear mine in the coming weeks. it gives me time to buy a few more to add to my collection, right? ;)
p.s. and yes forever 21 has some of the best afforable cardigans and mine have last for forever! love the colors i can snag from there.

I don't have as many as you but I did just see the most perfect pink cardigan at J.Crew the other day. In fact, I need to go back and get it.
I don't have more cardi's than you, but I BET I have way more shoes!!!
But youare spot on, the cardi is the world's most versatile thing and I do have a few that I'd be lost without. Especially in this in-between weather when it's too warm for a coat but too cold to be bare-armed.
I have a confession: I don't have any. Can you believe that? And I totally believe in the power of the cardigan, but I can't seem to find one that fits right on my body. They make so much sense too. I'd want simple ones, I think. Ones I can pair with summer dresses to take them into the fall. I honestly don't even know where to look.
Sheesh! I'm kinda ready to fly up to you so we can do some cardigan shopping together.
I am more than happy to wear a different cardi each day of the week - haha! I need my own cardigan closet (good thing moving every few years downsizes things :)) These images are so beautiful - love the first one and the Herrera.

Ooh, we can be cardi besties! Seriously. You should see my closet...I have like twenty cardigans in there - and I'm always finding new ones to fall in love with! I think I would die without cardigans! :P
I just recently started following your blog and love it! I am a big fan of the cardi. While I don't have as many as you (jealous), I am building quite the collection. They are really the perfect accesory!
I love cardigans- I especially like a long one that covers my butt so that I don't get cold when I sit down in the fall and winter!

I totally agree, yet I can't seem to spend money on them. It is stupid. I open my closet and always think I need cardigans and then I go to buy one and get something more exciting instead. Bah!

I love this post. You know why? Let's just say I rock a party cardi to my own cardi party nearly everday.
I do find that it is difficult to find cardis for my frame. Most tend to be a bit boxy for my shape. I'm always on the lookout for fitted cardis in all colors.

I used to own a bunch of cardigans but when we moved I left them with my sister. I think I wore one every single day, had them in all colors of the rainbow and I'll die and go to heaven next time I wear one.

i love cardigans, they are simple and classy. but i am nowhere near your number!! i really want a mustard yellow cardi.
I am totally a part of the cardigan crew! Maybe Vice President :) I'm wearing one right now even. They're just to easy to throw on and it can totally make an outfit more polished. Thank you soo much for your tips about talking with venues and vendors. I'll try and take your advice!!

Though I do not have 15 (more like 3-5) I do love cardigans, too. As you say they are the perfect outfit saver. I'm still looking for the PERFECT one...
I get teased for my cardigan collection as well, but I love them anyway! They are so versatile and easy to peel off and put back on with all the changes in temperature. I don't have more than you, but I'm well on my way =)

OH GIRL, i hear ya. i have many. they can make an outfit, or certainly jazz it up! and they really help when one works in a chilly office!

Oh, I agree 100%. I just love cardis of all kinds, but I have to impose a ban on buying any more because that's practically all my wardrobe consists of - 3 grey cardis, 3 black ones etc. It's so hard though - the minute I walk into a shop and see another cute or cosy one...I'm lost! xx

I am smiling at this, I just bought a blue cardigan @ Goodwill yesterday, it had a Target tag still on, never worn, for $5. Yes, it's true love.

and sport them for so many different occasions

I love a cardigan. Nothing makes me feel more put together or like I've created an "outfit" like layers. And who can do layers without the MANDATORY cardi? I'm in the crew fo sho.
