The Gaynor Minden lunch was a success! Thank you for all your fashion advice. I chose a turquoise a line dress with a black shrug and nude heels. Fun color yet conservative cut. I also scored a free pair of Gaynor Minden pointe shoes, which is a big deal considering how much they cost (around $100
cough cough.)

I'd like to amend your "cake stands" with the phrase "with a cake or pie or other delicious treat on top". Glee made me giddy last night. Seeing my boyfriend after weeks of being away TOTALLY makes me giddy too, as does seeing friends.
I have to agree with you on everything even the pointe shoes -- and I'm not even a ballet dancer but htey're just so pretty :)

Oh my golly. How did I miss that this morning? My eyes must have still been foggy. Kitchens do make me giddy as to shelves and shelves of books. And everything I mentioned before too when I was writing in my zombie, can't-read-small-text morning state.
Happy to hear your lunch was a success! What's making me giddy right now is coffee lol. Is that bad? I'm working a 12 hour day today and coffee on my lunch break is just the thing I need to get me through the phase two of the day!
Pointe shoes. I am dying to get to wear some! Work work work! That and Fall. I have been in such a giddy mood. I can't wait to go to apple hill and bake so much my house smells delicious and over powering the yuck hallway smells in my building.
Giddy...nothing at moment. I am just way too busy studying :( And nervous and scared to boot.

That's exciting! I couldn't agree with you more, I remember my first pair of pointe shoes, I think they were Freeds, and I LOVED them, wanted to wear them constantly! Too cute! Sometimes my kitties make me giddy, sometimes I look at them and I just can't stand it! XX!!!
I love pointe. In France, I did Ballet and was about to move up to pointe but I stopped .... what a shame!
