Halloween Parties

I know it's way early to be blogging about Halloween but I found these at Williams-Sonoma and I could not wait to share.  Besides, what's a holiday without a little planning ahead?

Who says gingerbread houses are just for Christmas (or Spring- remember those cookie bird houses)?
I think this would be a fabulous party idea.
Cook some Cioppino, play some fun music, and have all your guests create their own haunted mansion.

Add some fun to your sophisticated Halloween party.
Or add some sophistication to the fun.
Either way, guests will be smitten by these cute and delicious petit fours.

Pretty sure everything is better on a stick.

Who here is throwing a Halloween party?
Perhaps we should all throw a virtual Halloween party!

Halloween is not so big in Europe, but I certainly wouldn't say no to these lovely petit-fours! They look d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s!

I wasn't planning on doing much of anything for Halloween this year but I have to admit that you've definitely inspired me to attempt something!

Those treats are too cute to be eaten. Hehehe. Oh and a virtual Halloween party sounds like a fun idea. Maybe we can all post our Halloween costumes or something

A virtual Halloween party sounds like fun!

I threw a Halloween party a couple of years ago... dressing up was mandatory and I had a goulish playlist streaming (Soundtracks from scary movies and some fun sounds too like 'Monster Mash' and 'I Want Candy'). I also had some candy eyeballs placed throughout the appetizer trays and loot bags for guests to take home.

Hope you're off to a wonderful week :)

I would love to throw a halloween or fall festival party! There aren't enough celebrations for the beauty that is fall, and I think that should definitely change!

I totally want the little ghost petit fours! And I would love to do something for Halloween! It's my favorite holiday, but oddly, I typically don't get to do anything for it -- it comes right in the middle of a semester so it's hard to plan for it when I have papers and readings and stuff. So I'm definitely down for a virtual party. I'll bring some baked goods!

It's funny, I've always loved Halloween but was never much into dressing up myself. But now that I have two kids under four, it's so much more fun for me.

That's right - who says gingerbread houses are only for Christmas?? This way- we have an excuse to make it twice in a year :)
I wish I had the time to throw a Halloween party. Actually, I wish we all lived closer so we can throw one together :)
All these Halloween goodies definitely have me in a festive mood, though!! :)

Oh, Halloween-my favorite holiday! Sadly, I think my sweetheart is headed to his little brother's football game (they're playing Notre Dame!) so we won't be able to throw the party we normally do!

oh!!! PURE yumminess in this post!!! xo I really like October, her we have another holiday before halloween. An ancient celebration called the Day of the dead. People make beautiful and extra colorful flowers and the whole city celebrates the dead. Its actually very beautiful and somewhat spiritual. Then halloween comes and its all about the fun! ;)

Haha- I was showing these to Dr. J the other day and we were laughing at the prices- As if.

Anyway I certainly don't think that monkeys care what it looks like so long as it is sweet.
