Mascarpone is so great and versatile. I worked as a chef at this lodge some time ago where the breakfast menu included a buttery oats porridge served with a dollop of mascarpone, fresh strawberries and a drizzle of honey. SO good!
May I say that you seem a little bit obsessed with 'le macaroon', Tiffany? But je comprend, je comprend totalement! How can one not dream of macaroons...
i LOVE macaroons! in the past, i've tried to make them myself!! they were NOT easy to get the texture and puff, but the flavor was delicious nonetheless! i would love to try one with mascarpone in the middle!! yuM!

Yum! I love creative snacks like this. Recently I saw teeny grilled cheese sandwiches on toothpicks over shot glasses of tomato soup--awesome!
