I love these photos taken by En Pointe Photography extraordinaire, Susan Yee. Susan and I went to high school together and when we met up (ahem, from Facebook), I soon discovered that she is seriously one talented person and has even been featured in bridal magazines. Amazingly enough, there are talks of me doing a photo shoot with Susan. I can't wait!

i'm from scotland where it rains everyday and have just moved to egypt where it rains once a year.....and although i used to complain about the rain a lot i think i'm gonna miss it!
This is a perfect post for me this morning, as its raining. I love it so much! It gives a slower and more relaxed feel to the day, dont you think?

It's hard not to love the rain after looking at these!
I like rain when it brings some thunder and lightning along with it. San Diego has these weird rain-mist days that just frustrate me. But I do love what this couple did for their wedding -- it's awesome to see people take advantage of unexpected situations. And you should do a photoshoot with Susan! That would be all sorts of fantastic, I'm sure.

i love umbrellas - so im loving these pics! also checked out the trash the dress pics. im about to get married and can't imagine trashing my dress - but friends whove been married for awhile seem to be drawn to the idea. must be something that hits you later on...

These are adorable! It totally rained on our wedding day but we didn't have pretty umbrella props!
We had a bit of rain on our wedding day and used it to our advantage. Luckily it stopped in time for the ceremony, which was outside.
I don't really like driving in the rain or being unprepared, but I do love a good cup of cocoa when it's pouring outside! Have a great week Tiffany :D

I was just talking to two of Mardy's friends last night, whose wedding was probably the best I've ever been to. It was bright & sunny & warm all day before, and even during the ceremony of their wedding day. And without notice...it started POURING rain. But it turned out to be perfect & serendipitous because after the rain, two rainbows appeared in the sky. And plus, the rain brought everyone together :)
Just wanted to share. Anyway, I love the rain :)

Oh gosh, if you do a shoot with her, that would just be amazing! Such beautiful photography! I love the calmness of the grey palette here (and her trash the dress ones were simply stunning - worth trashing the dress for :)).

I hear it's good luck when it rains on your wedding day. I mean the props you get to bust out makes it all worth it, right? :) It rained for my engagement photos and I just loved the results. Hope u get to do the shoot with your friend. Gotta love FB :) So exciting!

I love the rain so much... being a Cali girl as well I think it's because of the novelty of it. I love these photos and how the cute couple made the most of the rain and didn't seem fazed by it at all.
And I am a hot cocoa addict so any excuse for me to drink it I will take. ;)

I love sunshowers. When hunny and I went to St. Lucia a few years ago there were sunshowers once a day, they felt amazing in the heat!!
