Diary Entry

image via

Going back to this wonderful diary entry made me realize how grateful I am for life.  Here's another entry for today.

Dear Diary,

Today

i love the smell of
cinnamon scented pine cones sitting in glass vases on my dining room table.

i love the sound of
mr. branflake tapping on his laptop.
tap tap tap means he's near me.

i love the taste of
edible gifts from friends and loved ones.

i love the sight of
orange leaves floating in the wind as i bike through them.

i love the feel of
hugs.

What do you love today?
For my U.S. friends, have a beautiful Thanksgiving Day and Weekend.
(yeah, we take the whole weekend off!)

Beautiful, my dear! I love that I have my chubby orange cat snuggled up next to me, and that I get to fly home tonight and fall asleep in my boyfriend's arms in the morning. I love that I get to see friends and family tomorrow and spend the weekend doing NJ things.
Happy Thanksgiving, Tiff!

Today I love...the sound of my cat snoring; the taste of French Vanilla creamer in my coffee; the smell of Skillet Fried Apple Pie candles; the sight of faux fur boots; and the feel of a warm robe.

Happy, Happy Almost Thanksgiving, my love!! :)

This is so sweet... LUVS!!

Today I am thankful for VPN access that works, so I can tap tap tap on my laptop, lol.

No but seriously, I am working from home today. My kitty was so pleased she spent 2 hours purring in my lap, then we had some milk together. Forgot how good a kitty can make you feel!! :)

You are just incredibly sweet! This post is such a great reminder of stopping to appreciate the lovable things in life =)

I'm visiting a friend's sister for Thanksgiving. They had me for the holidays last year, only this year he is deployed and his sister insisted I still come. It is nice because it is far to expensive to travel home!

And I think it is so heartwarming that you are curious and interested in my life! Seriously, I was just thinking how I kind of felt alone on the holidays with everything being so different this year. Then I read your message and was encouraged.
