Don't Judge a Book by Its Curvy Cover

So I found the most perfect, oh my goodness I look hot, where have you been all my life? jeans.  The moment I put them on I just knew (knew) my denim life would never be the same.  They not only looked amazing but also felt incredibly comfortable.  What were these magical jeans?

Gap Curvy Jeans.  Which is weird because I am the last person who could be called curvy.  Well, actually my sister is even less curvy and is a Gap Curvy Jeans convert also. She's actually the one who told me about them.  Weird.

Have you found the perfect jeans?
What brand are they?
(I predict that because I love these jeans so much they are going to discontinue them.
Isn't that how it usually goes?)

These look great...I will be sure to give them a try the next time I am in the Gap...thanks for the tip Tiffany!

Haha that was my first thought, I won't get excited because they might discontinue!! I will have to try them though - you could be like mark and buy like 5 pairs just because you love them :)

Those look like a great cut!

I love these old Gap flare leg jeans I actually got from TJ Maxx (tags were cut off but the button was still GAP). Good jeans can come at any price point!

Oh I'll have to give them a shot. I actually used to wear Gap jeans all the time and they were some of my faves.

Hope your week is off to a great start!

You know, I've never found the single most perfect pair of jeans. I have a pair of 7 for all mankind jeans that I love (except for their price tag) and lately, I've been wearing a pair of Gap jeans from last season around (which I had to was several times before they fit well -- and they still stretch out so much that after two wears they're too big). I may go back and try these though. I trust your recommendations.

I have yet to find the perfect pair of jeans. Currently I am wearing the Eva cut from Express (their curvy version) which are close but have the same problem Brandi mentioned, two wears and they get big and saggy. I'll have to try these Gap jeans. And by the way, when I find a pair of pants that work as well as you describe I buy multiples immediately. Stick them in the back of the closet just in case, and if they don't get used I donate them in my yearly clothing purge. Sounds crazy, but I have so much trouble finding pants that fit properly in all areas that it is definitely worth it for me.

GAP jeans and aeropostle are the only pair of jeans i can wear! most other jeans make me look like a square - doesn't help that im so short legged!

now i want to check out this specific kind of GAP jeans. thanks for the find!

Oddly enough, I have found the perfect jeans - two forms in fact. One from Forever 21 and the other from Target. They are inexpensive and amazing - love love! Also...those GAP Jeans are gorg!! :)

hmmm.I'll check it out! I am a ... jean-obsessed :) I LOVE jeans, I have ... no kidding, probably, over 100...
and what I found - if you love it : BUY A LOT ( several pairs) : if the fashion peak goes out of style - no worries, it will be back in a couple of years, but NOONE will have YOUR jeans ( that also make you look hot )

Have you tried true religions? their flares make your legs look amazing, and they do have different body-type styles now too. That's if you want more jeans, :)

I confess, I struggle with Gap's jeans-I seem to be an in-between size and can't ever get them to fit quite right!

I'm a J.Crew denim devotee-in fact, I have a few "back up" pairs squirreled away that I haven't touched in years, for when the current ones wear out!

I ADORE Lucky Brand jeans. Too bad they're so darn expensive.

I've never really tried Gap jeans but have heard great things. I recently tried James Jeans and am now a big fan! The slight stretch makes them the perfect skinny jean.

I still haven't found the perfect jeans for me. I'll hit the Gap and try these, though.

i feel like it's some great life accomplishment when you find the perfect jeans for your body! :) my favorites are BDG cigarette jeans {found at urban outfitters}. i love them because they are short {like me!} and fit in all the right ways. success!

Oh this makes me think of Liz Lemon on last week's 30 Rock. I have not found the perfect jeans, at least I don't think. I did quite some time ago and they just happened to be the only pair of H&M jeans to ever fit me perfectly, and I wore them out entirely and never found anything like them ever again. I'm hoping that changes. I just need to try jeans on - I avoid it at all cost!

I'm going to try these out. I'm super curvy! :]

ps. I'm dying with anticipation over your Thanksgiving-Mr. Branflake suprise.

I love the boyfriend jeans at Old Navy. I couldn't wear them for a night out, but for everyday they're divinely comfortable.

I'm all about Paper Denim. I found my last pair on sale at Ideeli for like $40 or something ridiculous.
I'm currently in the market for some inexpensive denim though. Hope I have as much luck as you!

I haven't worn Gap jeans in a long time, but I've heard that they're making a comeback. If only I can tear myself away from Kasils. My wallet would thank me for that.

Croatian_Latina said...

I have the hardest time finding jeans that fit me. and finally a couple of years ago I found them at the buckle! they fit my small waist, my curvy hips and they even have them in different lengths short, long, extra long and they adjust for free. I would love to try these gap jeans but I will have to wait to try them in person, (as we don't have Gap in Croatia). But I will mention them to my sister who lives in the States. (we have similar body types) and maybe you should stock up and buy several?

Anaiz said...

I'll have to give these a try, I am still on the lookout for a great pair of jeans!

Robin said...

Yeah, Gap's naming conventions are a bit counterintuitive. I am curvy, but those cute curvy jeans on me? Way to low on the waist and not enough give in the thigh for me. But Long & Lean jeans....perfection (despite the fact that I am neither long or lean!)
Enjoy the denim find though....that is such a great feeling!!

haha, I just posted a post about jeans. I honestly don't care what brand I wear as long as they are stretch denim & have cool back pockets, that's all that matters. I love the brands Miss Me, Hydraulic, Rue21 to name a few. Let's see those curvy jeans on you girl!

I very rarely wear Jeans, but when I do I prefer low cut. Don't ask me the designer of the jeans - I'm not very good at such things;-)
