Giveaway: Be Hip and Get Some Original Artwork

Ever since Joanna Goddard of A Cup of Jo did a tour of her apartment on Shelter Pop and mentioned that she loved to buy photography from emerging photographers I have been inspired to do the same.  Filling an abode with original artwork and photography from up and coming artists is a beautiful way to build your own personal gallery and support the art world.

Which is why I am thrilled to host this giveaway by Kimia Kline of Alkeemi.  Her artwork intrigues me and I would love to have some of it hanging on my wall.  It would be a great dinner party conversation topic.

Kimia has offered this piece, "Bittersweet."

Bittersweet is my favorite piece, which is why I chose it for the Giveaway.  To me, it tells a story of a conflicting relationship of two sisters or life long friends.  Very Jane Austen to me.  But you may have your own interpretation.

To enter this giveaway:
1. Follow Dancing Branflakes
2. Visit her website Alkeemi.
3. Leave a comment below.

I will pick a winner randomly on Monday Jan 3rd.

If you would like me to host a giveaway for you, just email me at tiffkaddy at hotmail.com.

Very cool pieces - I also like the serenity of "Dirty Blonde". Thanks Tiff!

So you are basically a genius. I too get a Jane Austen, or even Editth Wharton "The Age of Innocence" vibe off of this print. It is absolutely exquisite - and enchanting.

I'm also a fan of the Sew It Down The Seam piece - http://www.alkeemi.bigcartel.com/product/sew-it-down-the-seam - which reminds me quite a bit of "The Virgin Suicides." Love!

I am, of course, a follower!! :)

Hey Tiffany...Funny thing...I thought that I was already following you, but I guess I wasn't. I am now though. I love reading your stuff and totally miss you. I love the picture you have as the giveaway. It reminds me of two friends maybe on the outs and one trying to apologize. It's a sweet picture and can have many different interpretations. I did visit the website and found it a pleasure. Happy Holidays to you and Chris. Hope to see you soon.

Beautiful artwork! Thanks for introducing us to Kline's works, they are so evocative. Sew it Down the Seam in particular seems like a clever modern take on Klimt's Virgin, very cool!
