What is your favorite time of day?
Is it when the sun is gently falling back to bed?
Or maybe when the orange sky happily greets the new day?
Maybe your head and your heart thrives once everyone is tucked in and all your feel is stillness in the dark.

I love this photo because it's Mr. Branflake's favorite time of day.
I have heard a saying that one's favorite time of the day is linked to the time you were born.
As if you have a personal connection with that time for the rest of your life.
I am a night owl. I love the feeling of solitude wrapped in a thick blanket of darkness.
1 AM. 2 AM is even better.
I asked my mom what time I was born.
She cannot remember
(I don't blame her. I hear labor is pretty intense.)
But if this saying is true, I have a feeling I was born at night.
That's when I am most comfortable and at peace.

I was born at 5:30 a.m. Which makes sense, because my perfect time is going to bed at 9:30 and getting up at 5!
I think I was born early in the morning, my favorite time of day depends on where I am, in the caribbean it's just before sunrise and here it's sunset.

I guess I am more of a daylight kind of girl. although I do love sunsets with all my heart, watching the sunrise to brighten the earth is always such a special experience.
I was born at night, precisely at 10h25pm.

How strange! I was born in the evening, around 530... which, during fall (my bday is in oct) is my favorite time of day. I love dusk.

Dawn is my favorite time of day - I'm such an early bird. I think I was born around 10:00am - or maybe it was 10:00 at night. Gah! I have no clue! :P
Funny- Dusk is my favorite time of day- But I was not born then- rather I feel like it would be the perfect time to die- so I like to think of that as the reason I feel most 'at peace' during this time of day-
BTW I mean this all in a happy not morbid way-
i was born 8:30 in the am - DEF NOT my fave time of day - yet i dunno what my FAVE TIME of day is tho - i truely love every minute of every day - but i like being in solitude at night - peaceful
I am not sure what time I was born. but Im sure going to ask now! lol. I am also a night owl. I think it comes from the many at night road trips to and from Cali when I was littler. I definatly tried to stay up and keep my mom company on the long dark road like the big kids did.. but I never lasted long. Now I love making my own trips at night :)
I was born at 6am, but am definitely NOT a morning person. :/
I was born at 10:59 PM and that's too late for me! Maybe I should have been born around 4 in the afternoon?
My favorite time of day is in the middle when the sun's shining and you've already done so much and there's so much more time left to do more fun things. And I was born at 12:15 in the afternoon :)

I was born at a terrible time on a terrible day: Monday around 5pm. I have mixed feelings about the morning. I tend to feel most clean and calm then, if it's not a day full of classes (whole other story). It's when sunlight is soft and the birds are singing . . . perfect time for diary writing and hot tea.
I think I was born in the wee hours of the morning and do like my quiet time in the morning!

Hmm..I think I was born around 1 in the afternoon, but still, my favorite time of day has to be the magic light hour - sunset, when everything becomes golden and the sky changes color. It's the end of a beautiful day, and the start of a beautiful night. That has to be my favorite time of day :)
just asked my mom right now - around 7pm and that is def. one of my favorite times in the day 'cause it means dinner is done and time to relax from a busy day!

7:30am...when my charlotte loves to wake me up and I say "WHY!? we have no where to go!" But I was a morning and late night person in high school. I don't know how I survived that. But right now, being prego has made me a late night, sleep 10-12 hours, take a nap kind of person.
I love this post. I was born at 7:30am. I really, really intensely hate this time of day. Hmmmm...my favorite time of day is just before the sun sets completely. The time of day when it's just barely still light out. Time to reflect on the day and just put your feet up.
I was born at 6:30am and I do like the mornings but just not THAT early. LOL xoxo
I was born around 2:30 pm but find the night time to be my favorite part of the day. I am usually still up while everyone is asleep - but every once in a while I enjoy those early mornings where you can just stay tucked in and watch the sun rise.

i was born in the late morning, which is definitely my favorite part of the day.
I was born in the late afternoon, early evening. And this is actually one of my least favorite times of the day! I haven't usually hit my second wind yet (I can stay up until all hours of the night) and am still in the midst of stressful classes/work.
I don't think necessarily disproves the birth-favorite time connection though - I was an emergency baby, C-section and premature. My mom & I have both always thought I was going to be a mid-morning birth (when she first started feeling pains). . . and that IS my favorite part of the day!

i was born at 10:15am, but that was after a couple day's of labor. i think by the time i came out i was completely fed up with the all hours of the day! plus, they totally thought i was a boy, so everyone was shocked when i came out a girl. it wasn't exactly the best entry into the world, so 10:15am can suck it! :)
more seriously though, i don't have a particular favorite time of day. i love different things about different times - like taking a walk just as the sun is coming up {although i hate the waking up process, so it's rare that i'm up this early}, or stopping everything to watch the LA sunsets in the evening {such brilliant colors!}, or how creative i am in middle of the night. wow, this just made me really appreciate life! so thanks for that. :)
I was born at 1:53pm and my favourite time of day is early morning when the city is still asleep and the sunshine is gently picking into our windows and Im sitting at my kitchen table drinking a hot cup of coffee..Its magic:) Happy Tuesday, darling

I was born early in the morning (like 4, I think?) and while I HATE getting out of bed, once I'm out I love the feeling of being up before the sun rises. So maybe it is true? I also love summer evenings.
i was born at 3:51am, and that probably explains why i am a total night owl too! i LOVE staying up late, i get my best blogging done after 9PM! ;)

I totally believe that! I was born at night and I'm a total night owl. I like staying up late and I swear I actually think better at night. My husband was born in the morning and he is my opposite, he's asleep by 10pm and is always super productive in the morning.
So I bet you were born at night as well!

Truly interesting... I was born at 7am... apparently I could not wait to say hello to the world because I popped right out in barely 20 minutes!!
Truth be told, I am not a morning person at all, in fact, it takes me a long time to get out of bed. There is a lot of stretching and pillow hugging, and hunny hugging. lol
My favorite time of day is somewhere around noon. When I know the sun is shining brightly and I can't wait to go outside.
my favorite time ever is friday night/saturday morning. sigh. it usually involves feeling carefree and relieved, and that is a nice state of mind! :)

I was born at 11:06am, but I think sometime between 7 and 8am is really my favorite time of day. I'm most certainly a morning person though.
My fave time of day is the afternoon into early eavening, when the sun is high in the sky and slowly setting.

I was born at 8:50 am. But surely 8:50 is not my favorite time of the day. My fav is at nightfall. After dinner and especially after everyone goes to sleep. Nice blog btw. And I love your love story! :)
