When the Dance World Gets Very Small

Long story short, I found the above photo on a friend's Facebook page and thought:
"That is the most amazing photograph."
I looked at who the photographer was and realized
"Hey! I know him!"
Not only do I know him but I also danced with him last summer at RDT.

I quickly emailed him and said "Just realized you are an amazing photographer.  Let's talk!"

His name is Chris Peddecord and not only is he a phenomenal photographer but also a beautiful professional dancer.  I'd watch him during class and just be in awe.

I wanted to give you an introduction to Chris and his photography.
Stay tuned for a Q and A from him and
maybe I'll sneak in a few pictures of the photographer himself.
all images are from his Facebook Page.
Like it and be prepared to be blown away.

Have a great day, everyone!

I'm feeling doubly guilty for not exercising this morning, but my legs are tired from all the running I've been doing and need a short rest. And yes! I really really do want to take a dance class, but I'll have to wait until I'm back on the East Coast to do that, I think. Photos like these definitely inspire me.

All of those photos are amazing!!! I can't get over how graceful she is. I'm looking forward to the Q&A!

Thank you for your kind words yesterday.. I've been having a bit of a freak out because my supervisors were threatening to not let me take a class I need due to time commitment and I have a huge work responsibility that my collegues don't have (it is a trial year, I am the test). It's a lot of pressure! However, I was selected for a reason. Today, they told me they would let me take the class! Yay!

I've never been a dancer (dropped out of ballet on the 1st day) but I've always been so enamored with pics of dancers in motion. The way they move their bodies is just beautiful. Truly sublime. Thanks for sharing these gems!

I've just stumbled on your blog and I really like the dancing and food element you've got. These photos are brilliant too, I dance and I've got a food blog so I can relate, it inspires me to do more dancey things on my blog!
