I saw this striped dress on Ruche and immediately thought of a date on the beach.
More specifically I thought of walking on the boardwalk
while holding hands with a handsome man and eating cotton candy.
Then while the sun sets we'll stroll along the ocean's edge where,
of course, there would be a few kisses and stolen glances along the way.

Love that sweet little seashell necklace...now that I live at the jersey shore full time...maybe I need a little "ode to the shore" charm or piece of jewelry.that would be nice.

I am in LOVE with that floppy hat! I can't seem to find the right one. This outfit would look adorable on you by the way. I hope there are some beach dates in my future. Especially since Sacramento is going to be in the high 90s into the 100's this week!

Ooh, I'd love to put that outfit on and head to the beach for the day... I'd sit under my beach umbrella, sip iced teas and immerse myself in a book while I listened to the waves. Bliss!

I love Ruche!! I'm currently agonizing over a beautiful summer dress I found there... I'll be visiting a creek in the middle of the forest tomorrow. It's not quite the beach, but it's just as peaceful :)
