I saw these photos on From Me, To You and immediately started longing for Paris.
Ah, Paris.
While I will be in England, my heart will be calling out to this beautiful city.
It has been sixteen years since I saw it last.
Sixteen!
What's more, it'll be right across that dang channel, beckoning to me in all its romantically chic glory.
If I inhale deep enough, maybe I could smell its fresh baked crusty bread and expensive perfume.
If I look far enough perhaps I'll catch the lights on the Tour Eiffel and L'Arc de Triumphe.
I'll be thinking of La Seine with all the famous people who have walked along its iconic stone path.
I'll never forget my first night there at Hotel Rex.
The first breakfast of baguettes, jam, and hot chocolate.
The first time I stepped in an actual castle and ate French vanilla ice cream
Oh, Paris.
I have not forgotten and I never will.

I love From Me to You! I visited Paris in 2006 and am already dying to go back. I hope I make it back at least once more in this lifetime! xo
I haven't been able to visit beautiful Paris (said with the proper French accent, of course), but I hope I get to see her soon. She is a lovely city :)
Baguettes, sidewalk cafes, the Eiffel Tower. Le sigh. I need a trip to Paris immediately! :)
Do you think you can long for a place you've never been to? My only worry is that when I finally make it to Paris, it will have been built up so much in my mind that I'll be disappointed. I hope not. I hope it just as fantastically charming and dreamy as everyone says it is. Hmm. I need to start planning my Europe trip. (Especially when you mention all that yummy food involved.)
These photos are breathtaking. You should go into Paris if you have a free weekend, it's just right there! :) I can't wait to be back in Paris this summer...the bread, the pastries, the Seine, Montmartre...and I can't wait to go to the flea market too!! :)

i LOVE paris! i have a friend who is there right now, riding bikes through the streets!, and i am SO jealous! i was there just a few years ago but cannot wait to go back!

Oh how these beautiful pictures make me long to go back to France! There is nothing like it.
But why not do a little jump over the channel... with the eurostar it's only 2.5 hours from London. Tempted???

ooh these photos are beautiful. It definitely makes me miss the time I spent in Paris ( on vaca). The flea market, Moulin Rouge, the food, the WINE, the music...just keeps going.
