Bruises and Something Boys Think is Cute

I woke up Friday morning and found this sucker on my knee.
I have no clue how I did it but it has to be from dancing.
And if you know modern dance you know that bruises are a no no.
Bruises mean that you are landing on your legs incorrectly when doing floorwork.
Oops!

On a much less painful note, I am guest posting over at So about what I said...,
Melissa Blake's fabulous and famous blog.
I wrote about something that boys think is cute on a girl-
something you would have never guessed!

If you bruise easily you ought to see your doctor to check Vitamin C functions or ascorbic acid.

I do hope you're okay. I recall in some of your earlier post that you get colds easily, too. Look after yourself.

I used to skate when I was a tween and I got those pretty often, they were like trophies to me. That one looks like something I would have been really proud of. Haha! Does it hurt? Are you ok?

I remember my days as a dancer - waking up with mystery bruises. One time I got one on my shoulder and all the boys teased me about it being a hickey!

wait.. does this mean you can get bruises w/o actually touching the part of your body that's bruised? I get unexplained bruises on my legs all the time. I wonder if it's related to running.

Really?? No one's ever told me that. Yeesh, I get bruises on my feet, ankles and knees all the time. And I'm proud of them, I feel like they're my earned stripes! Lol... Seriously, though, I didn't know that bruises equaled bad technique. Crap :P

Oh my! I hope you start landing better and that thing heals up quickly! It does not look pleasant. :( I was watching The Adjustment Bureau today and I actually kind of thought of you because Emily Blunt's character is a dancer. :P Like my lame association?

Yikes!! I always wondered how modern dancers don't get MORE bruised with all the floorwork. Can you enlighten me?
