Dear Diary: Today I Love...

This photo taken on the train from the airport to Greenwich.
Ideas kept coming at me and I could barely write them down fast enough.

Dear Diary,

Today

i love the smell of
the purple flowers that seem to be everywhere here in London.

i love the sound of
these wonderful British accents all around me.
I could listen to them speak all day.

i love the taste of
ice cream.
When it's summertime it's all I crave.
Cold, creamy, smooth ice cream.

i love the sight of
Greenwich.
This place is taken straight out of a movie with little shops and bakeries everywhere.

i love the feel of
my body moving.
It's sore and it's getting older but the more I move it the better it feels.

What do you love today?

I love this post. I also love...

...lounging around in Hello Kitty pajamas.

...gearing up for a weekend full of brunch dates and shopping with one of my friends.

...dreaming of far-off destinations courtesy of the latest book I am reading. :)

Ooh yes, British accents. They might just be my favorite! Today I'm in love with a really good cup of cofee. I gave it up for a few days but I couldn't stay away. ;)

Your writing is so beautifully expressed - so I love that. I love the peace in the garden with only a slight rustle of palms and occasional bird song.

I was brought up in England which makes me terribly fond of the smart English accent. Glad to hear you are enjoying London and all it has to offer. xx

I didn't make it to Greenwich on my last UK trip, but hope to next time. Happy travels, girl!

PS: My most recent London post was a reminiscing post, from some scribbles I found in a notebook tucked away...

PPS: Are you hitting the museums? All of them, a must! V&A, Tate Modern, Tate Britain, White Chapel area museums, and National Gallery, National Museum?! And the best & cheapest concerts in London, St. Martin in the Fields (of course!!).

Enjoy, enjoy. And eat some meat pasties for me!
