Boyfriend Jeans and Boyfriend Tees

Mr. Branflake goes through shirts like I go through a bag of Sour Patch Kids.
How and why do men wear out shirts so quickly?
I feel bad throwing them away so I started wearing them for working out and to bed.
They are a few sizes too big for me so they are extra comfy and roomy.
Sexy, I know.

But recently in dance class I was fiddling with my top and I realized that if I made a knot in the back it became much cuter and way more flattering.

(I cut the sleeves and the neckline to make it a bit more "girl friendly".)

So that's what I did to Mr. Branflake's shirts. A quick knot in the back et voila!
 Cuteness in a jersey tee.
Paired with boyfriend jeans and some sneakers and I am ready for Monday Night Football.
Or just a walk to the grocery store.

I know it looks like I am trying to show off my bum but I'm really trying to show off my knot. I promise!

How do you wear BF clothes?
(update: last night I went to dinner at the MVP Sports Bar and Grille in Sacramento with two friends to catch up and watch some Monday Night Football. Totally wore this outfit.)

Now that is a very inventive idea, I love big comfy cotton t-shirts for bed.

Ah, that shirt is adorbs on you, Tiffany! Personally, I have found some of the most amazing sweaters in the closets and throwaway piles of boys - their wardrobes are like the mother lode! :P

How cute do you look!! (As always ;). I love how you improvised and made it more girl friendly...and this tee is so perfect for a football night :) I definitely steal my man's clothes too - but mostly for sleep (or warmth). I should try to improvise a bit more like you! :)

I absolutely pulled on John's pants once thinking they were mine-and wore them all weekend, then to work on Monday!

But really, what is it about men and tshirts?!

that is cute! i love the cut neck and sleeves. it definitely looks way more feminine that way. i discovered not too long ago that the mister's shirts fit me fairly well on account of his extreme skinniness. i like to wear a couple of his shirts with a high-waisted skirt and belt. it's very hipster chic. :)

u look so cute!!!
I wear my boyfriend's collar shirts all the time, love'em!!!! but not very much of a t-shirt gal so I dont wear those. oh and his jeans are just too big for me, he is super-duper tall. When I used to dance I did love over-sized t-shirts to wear during rehearsal breaks. {maaan reading your blog brings back so many fun memories...} xoxoo

Oh, that is a great idea, isn't it! There is something so intimate and fun, not to mention prudent, about using Mr.'s old shirts, one way or the other.

I wear my boy's castaway's to bed, and they are ever so comfortable. Love your knotty idea.
