I've been kind of obsessed with wearing hats lately.
In my efforts to keep the wonderful European lifestyle of walking everywhere,
everyday I've been walking a roundtrip of 4 miles to the grocery store in 90+ degree weather.
My hat is saving my skin from serious damage and aging.
And I think it makes any outfit go from "blah" to "oh, that's cute!"
I might be known as the hat lady but that's okay with me.
In fact, anytime I see someone in a hat I feel like we're in this special hat club.
There is a mutual understanding of coolness and hat hair that bonds us.

A bit - I used to wear hats far more often. But I think the fact that I have to wear them 6 months out of the year because of the cold makes me want some freedom from head coverings.
I adore hats. Have quite a collection. They are ideal for roaming about in summer. xx
I love hats and am pleased to say that nearly all hats suit me. They're not only good for keeping the sun off my face, but great for hiding a bad hair day!

The hat looks so cute on you! Sadly, I don't really have a summer hat. It takes some time usually for me to find one that fits well (most are a bit too small for me). But I'll be in NYC today -- maybe I'll go to a real hat store and find a perfect summer piece.

that hat is adorable on you!! i love hats, but i always feel so much hotter in them, even the ones with lots of holes. still, if they work with an outfit i chalk it up to just another womanly sacrifice for the sake of good fashion. :)
i have def worn hats this summer - and i plan to keep wearing some of them through fall, esp. the fedora.

i have SO many hats - but NEVER ever wear - i'm a sun worshiper - i know it only means TROUBLE when i get older - but heck, i live once and it's gonna be TAN in the summer!!!

ooo la la! i once had a roommate who wore these super chic 20's themed hats ... she also wore gloves ... and I don't think she owned a pair of pants. basically i think she was born in the wrong generation ... but her hats were super cute, as is yours :)

I love hats but I hate their fit on my head/hair!!! I love how it looks in fashion photographs and on other people but the few times I've tried to wear them, Tim looks at me funny and I feel funny.
Anyway you look gorgeous in your hat and I love how cute the pictures are!!! I can't believe you're voluntarily walking in 90 degree weather since I HAVE to do that for research/classes and I hate it! then again it's more like 108 here than 90 but still.

I live in the middle of a city and walk everywhere, only using transport as a matter of urgency. I'm sure you understand when I say how healthy walking is, both physically and mentally! However, we don't really have 90 degree heat here in England!

I have two summer hats and one for fall. I always wear them with pleasure. Yours looks nice and you're kind of lucky. Not many people can look good wearing one.
