I left Scotland yesterday and, although I am in fabulous London,
I miss Scotland terribly.
There was so much I still wanted to do, photos I wanted to take, and people I wanted to see.
I fell in love with Scotland and I feel as if we are kindred spirits,
separated by a country (America) and an ocean (Atlantic).
If you ever are in Beauly, tell the owner of the visitor's center that Tiffany sent you.
If you ever find yourself at Philip King II's Kilt store in Aberdeen, tell them Tiffany says hi.
If you are ever in Inverness, stay at the Eskdale Guest House and give my love to Kathy.
If you are ever at a football match, say hi to the men in suits and give them my regards.
If you ever meet a farmer near Clava Cairns, walk the opposite direction.
I took this at the Urquhart Castle in the Highlands.
If you ever do go to Scotland, let me know and I'll go with you.
Top photo explanation:
While walking from Holyrood down the Royal Mile I spotted two Scottish gents.
I knew my friend Lizzie would appreciate a photo (she has a weakness for the Scottish accent.)
Remember my first man in kilt sighting?
Do you like how I'm getting braver?

"If you ever meet a farmer near Clava Cairns..."
That was too funny!
I'm still so jealous of your trip--it sounds so incredible!
sounds like a wonderful place to visit! i have loved all of your photos! xoxo jillian:: cornflake dreams
I love the last picture. It's wonderful when you make a connection with a country like that. Travel is a magical thing.
i love this post! and it so makes me wish i was heading to scotland soon! my husband's family is from there (his mom has the cutest scottish accent!) and we are just dying to go...i think i'll have to show him your posts!
How simply wonderful! You & Lillian are traveling right now and I told her this and I'll tell you too ;) I am totally living vicariously through your travels!! I've been to Scotland but only for a day, I hope to go back and see much more. Loving all your photos and crazy stories too :)
A fantastic finale to your Scottish adventure! I would love to go to Scotland and I hope I get the chance to visit some day.
Great photos, especialy of the rather attractive men in kilts ;-)
This trip is certainly making you brave-what wonderful photos!
Aww, I wish I could have made it up to Scotland this time!! Actually, I wish I could have flown to the UK a bit earlier and we could have traveled together ;) Not that I'm complaining - it's awesome being here, isn't it?! :) LOVE these photos, love all your recaps of your time in Scotland...makes me so nostalgic! :)
I have always wanted to go to Scotland! Looks and sounds as magnificent as I expected. Take care of yourself in London. Hope all is well with the rioting! xoxo
I love that youre having so much fun, Tiffany. :]
Next summer?
Where did you find those guys? And did you get their phone numbers for me? See, I'd worry if I went, I'd blend in with my red hair and freckles. But, that could be a good thing, though I doubt I'd be asked up to VIP booths at football games. Between your posts and my road trip, wandering is in my blood now and another trip needs to be on my horizon.
You've definitely made me want to visit Scotland someday!
well i am glad that you loved scotland so much! and i'd bet money that scotland was crazy about you, too!
I am so so excited that your trip has been so fun and eventful. I adore all of the great images!!

Sounds like you had a great time. :)
If ever I win a trip to Scotland, be prepared for a call, Tiffany...I refuse to experience it without you by my side! :)
It seems to me that you have found your spiritual home is Scotland.
I have lived in various places, but my spiritual home is Ireland ... although I am not Irish. I would go there at any time.
My actual birth place is over the border from Scotland, in Northumberland.
Oooh lovely! I wanna go now! That's awesome - hahaha, love the kilts!
Now I need to visit the Highlands! I'm very glad you came down to London - 'twas lovely to meet up. X
Incredible!! Hope you post more photos of your journey, sweetie :)
It sounds amazing!
Love the photos! Tiffany, I love a man in a kilt. As a matter of fact, my husband has always wanted a kilt so I purchased one this year for our wedding anniversary.
That was indeed brave of you. I have no fear in asking strangers for a photo. My dad is a photographer so I get the courage from him. I usually win them over with my southern charm and accent :)
haha, i loved your first man in kilt photo/experience. it makes me feel SO much better about my own awkwardness when i attempt to be a blogger in the real world {aka - taking photos of everything!}.
ok honestly i really love their socks. and I really want their shoes LOL.
These pictures are both adorable and breath taking! Man Id love to go!
The Scottish Highlands are beautiful, aren't they? Did you see any cairns? I took pictures of one once when I was there, amazing things.
aww this makes me wish that we had gotten to meet up there so bad!!! i can't wait to get there!
