You know when you have a dream that is so real you wake up and can't accept reality?
I dreamed I was dancing on the moon and now I can't get that concept out of my head.
I was weightless yet free, engulfed by the dark blue sky.
I was surrounded by stars and my body was illuminated by the ground below.
Perhaps one day it will happen. Or perhaps I know now what my next piece will be about.
What are some words that come to mind when you think of dancing on the moon?
(This is part of the choreographic process so you might just help me create a masterpiece!)
These photos of me were taken by a fellow dancer at Laban.

Gah! Tiffany, what beautiful words to accompany such a gorgeous collection of photographs. I LOVE! :)
These photos are so beautiful. I know this is crazy but it is motivating me to go do yoga... I think I need to stretch my spine! Happy Friday, Beautiful. xo
I had one of those so-real dreams a couple years ago. Except that I had dreamed that my oldest younger brother had died. It was really sort of terrible to wake up like that. Like, really, really terrible.
Thankfully, I haven't had one in awhile. My so-real dreams always seem to be bad news.
My words are silver, shadow, soft and luminous.
i like the idea the the earth is on the background sort of in the way we see the moon over here... have a great weekend full of british adventures!
i think of being suspended in air when doing jumps or leaps, or even just a pulling, the anti gravity of the moon pulling out and up.
these picftures are so pretty. your a lovely dancer. i would LOVE to see you in action :)
oooh, tiffany! That sounds like an incredible dream!!! I think of the word airy for some reason. ;)
p.s. i'm so sorry about your farmer experience!
when i think of dancing on the moon, i think that even the worst dancers will appear elegant and beautiful! i need to make a trip up there... ;)
Tiffany, freedom, flying across the landscape, like a butterfly or nymph!

wow! what a dream! and i can't wait to see you make it a reality!
for some reason this is reminding me of an old song by van morrison called moondance. it is a beautiful song!
What a gorg post and photos, Tiff! xoxoxoxoxxoxo
Dancing on the moon makes me think of lightness, flying across the sky, and oddly enough (or maybe not), a sense of isolation that's both freeing and a bit lonely. gosh this is a gorgeous post!
When you were waking up, did you feel a part of you trying to hold onto the dream to make it last? Those are the best.
Footsteps come to mind, because they always remain there.
what a fun dream. i love dreams like that!

beautiful photos, you are so graceful!
You totally need to choreograph a piece with this dream as your inspiration. I just imagine there would be a lot of jumps, beautiful music, and slow movements.
What a beautiful dream! Absolutely inspiring!
Lovely!
Speaking of dance, I just enetered a dance contest, and it would be awesome if you could vote for me!
All the info about it is on my blog :)
Beautiful pictures! xo

I imagine being on the moon would be full of those weird moments when your stomach rises up and does a backflip, like when you go over a bump in a car or over the top of a roller coaster. Or like having a helium balloon where your diaphragm should be. This seems like a really cool idea for a piece; I hope it works out.
I really like your blog! Hope you don't mind if I stick around! :)
I'm sure you're on your way to a masterpiece!
Your blog is amazing and I would love to see you dance! Brilliant.
What an inspiring dream, and the photos of you dancing are beautiful! Weightlessness - definitely. Silence. Cold, always comes to mind.
I'm just trying to imagine a dance with as little gravity as there is on the moon. How beautiful that would look... (or not, if clumsy Blue were the one dancing...)
