Apple Pie with a Twist

How adorable is this? A beautiful lattice pie crust cookie over a piping mug of apple cider.
Truth be told, I don't like apple pie but I love apple pie crust and I love apple cider.
Putting them together is definitely the bee's knees to me.

What exciting things are you baking this season?

Oh wow! I love this. If it takes even half as pretty as it looks, then yum!

And it's so festive. Thanks for sharing, Tiffany!

Wow, this is so clever and I bet it's so easy too! I totally love this idea. Unfortunately (for my waistline) I'm a lover of anything apple pie so this definitely gets added to the love list.

i saw this on pinterest the other day and thought it was such a cute idea! it's a fun take on milk & cookies or coffee & biscotti, and would be a great way to serve drinks at an autumn party.

LOVE these-you can be sure I'll be making them this fall! I'm looking forward to baking a loaf of pumpkin bread this weekend and maybe a gruyere-apple pie for John!

I don't like apple pie either and people think I'm crazy. This sounds good though.

This is such a great idea. I've never made pumpkin pie so I might give it a whirl. I left a comment about that farmer!

Cute! I saw Nigella make a french toast the other day, topped with plums that had been poached in a cranberry juice/sugar/cinnamon mixture. It made me think of you.

Such a cute idea for a cold fall night...if it ever actually gets cold enough. I have a bunch of apples here that I need to do something with tomorrow. First, butternut squash apple soup, then a crisp. Then if there are any left, some apple sauce because it's my father's favorite.

Totally bookmarking this...That is an adorable idea!

Goodness, this looks so yummy, certainly a labor of love. Making a large lattice is a challenge can't imagine attempting a mug size one.
