I have this memory that I can't shake. I'm in Paris standing atop the steps in Monmartre.
I remember feeling overwhelmed by the beauty of Paris, the Sacre-Coeur, and the artists around me.
Nothing really significant happened except for the distinct feeling that being in that exact spot would stay with me forever.
Hopefully when I go back to that place in Monmartre I'll be dressed in glamorous attire and holding hands with my true love.
Can you believe he's never been out of the country? We need to change that, stat!

i've only been out of the country once and that was just over the michigan border into canada, so it wasn't much of a culture shock!

I adore Paris, and you definitely have to go, with those clothes! The area around the montmartre is particularly beautiful - it has that amazing Amelie-esque charm.
I have a particular love for those steps, for it was at the summit my husband proposed to me! I'd go back a million times over, I think it's one of the most romantic places on earth.

I got a similar feeling from a spot on Galata Bridge in Istanbul. My current "favorite spot in the world" (although, Prince Edward Island used to have the title previously).
I have never been to Paris, but I hope to go some day and wear a fabulous outfit like this and do exactly the same things!
