I told you she'd be famous!

Remember when Sarah Jio (Glamour Health and Fitness blogger and novelist) was so kind to give me an advanced copy of her first book, The Violets of March

Well, I hate to say I told you so but I'll say it anyway because she's now crazy famous.

And so when she sent me an advanced copy of her second novel, The Bungalow, I opened my mailbox and felt pretty darned special.

To receive mail from a famous novelist is just about the best thing ever.

I read  The Bungalow a few weeks ago and devoured it in a day.
Sarah Jio is masterful at getting you hooked from the very beginning.
That is, until the last few chapters.
That's when I couldn't help but rush through them.
You see, how the story unfolded had me so on edge I actually skimmed to the end because I fell so in love with the main characters and was too impatient to find out what happened.

Bad, I know.
But I really really wanted to find out what happened and I was biting at the bit in anticipation.

Her stories are that captivating.

Thanks, Sarah, for writing yet another beautifully woven tale.
I'll carry this story with me forever.
The Bungalow comes out TODAY!
Visit my interview with Sarah on what it's like to be amazing like her.

So now I have two new books to add to my must-read pile...The Violets of March and The Bungalow. They sound incredible!

P.S. Impatience always gets the best of me when reading, as well! :)

I'm amazed at how you have such awesome connections to be sent books by famous authors - so fun!
I'm chompin' at the bit to read a new book, and anxiously awaiting the arrival of a couple from Amazon this week. This time of year is perfect to cozy up with a good book.

Oh, she has to write a sequel! There is only one consolation when you finish a great book... the knowledge that there is more.

This is definitely on my list for the new year.. She is so wonderful and so happy for her well deserved success.

Thank you for your sweet comment on my abstract painting, it was one of those creations were I just let it be and didn't think while creating, a definite dance with my brush and fingers.
