I bought this coat on tour a few years ago.
I found it in a shop in NYC and immediately called Mr. Branflake and said,
"I'm currently buying my birthday gift from you."
When you find a coat that makes you feel like Audrey Hepburn there's no turning back.
A note about outfit posts:
Why do I do outfit posts even though I am clearly not a model or a fashionista?
A few reasons.
Reason One:
I am trying to get over hating how I look in photos.
You see that middle photo where I look like a smug know it all?
I hate it. Absolutely hate it. But I'm learning to deal and this is part of the learning process.
Reason Two:
I'm a little fed up with all the revealing clothing over the internet so I'm just doing my part to show that style does not mean short skirts, low tops, and bare midriffs.
If you're reading this then maybe you've done your part also.
I believe every little bit helps.

i've been a silent reader of your blogs for a while. it's my first comment here, because i can relate to reason number 2 (yes, fashion is more than just showing more skin).
i've never done any outfit post, but i might give it a try one day for this cause :)
I agree fashion is becoming for gaga like everyday! I'm more of a vintage girl myself and I keep meanin to do outfit possts but can't muster a good photo! Also lovely coat, the pattern is mesmerizing

The main reason I don't do outfit posts isn't because I don't like showing off my clothes (believe me, I do - especially my clothes); but has more to do with a few facts:
1) I highly dislike how I look in photographs. I am an animated person who is bubbly and cute in real life - photographs rarely capture that.
2) I prefer being a fashionable behind the scenes person - i.e. writer not model.
3)I don't have a professional camera, so a lot of photographs wind up looking very amateurish.
And there you have it. :P

I don't do many outfit posts because A) I'm not that fashionable and B) I'm not very good with a camera.

NEVER turn down a coat that makes you feel like audrey. :) i think you are beautiful tiffany! you are a fashionista to me :) and i am totally down with trying to show that good fashion sense does not equal immodesty. maybe i will start doing outfit posts, too? anyway, i love your outfit posts! never stop!
That coat was such a smart buy-it's absolutely divine! And I love your outfit posts, for all the reasons you do them and for the peek it gives all of us into your daily life.
Last year I said to myself that I was going to do some outfit posts- I talked about it with my husband and we never did it- that is I didn't ask him again to take photos of me.
I don't enjoy posting photos of myself but I like your reasons for doing so.

I do yes, but only from the neck down, I'm 47 so feel like such an oldie among a sea of young gorgeous bloggers.
Sadly no, no outfit posts for me. Mostly because I don't have a photographer to do it for me, or a cool camera with a remote. Otherwise I totally would!
Firstly, you look absolutely gorgeous and amazing in ALL of your photos. Secondly, if that coat mysteriously disappears, it wasn't me.

That is a great coat! and tights I like to tell my husband what he's buying for me too :) Cheers to someone else who is inclined to modesty! I don't do outfit posts cause as a photographer I just work better behind the camera but I like to do the occasional accessory post.

I've never done an outfit post, eeek... scares me, as I hate 98% of photos taken of me. Maybe, maybe that could be a 2012 resolution to consider...

I've only done one fashion post a few weeks ago and I thought it felt so liberating! I also have some issues of how I turn out in pictures so its been a learning process. Definitely going to do another fashion post soon. Love all of your posts! :)
I've never done an outfit post because I hate the way I look in photos. Even as a kid I never wanted to be in front of the camera. I may muster up the courage one day to do an outfit post.
I love outfit posts! Especially the classy, realistic outfit posts- you know, things I would actually wear. I would love to do more outfit posts, but my wardrobe is so lame and i'm pretty sure people would get tired of seeing me in sweats and running clothes all the time, LOL.

I definitely don't think you look smug in that picture! I think it looks more like you're about to smile. But I relate to hating how I like in photos. Whenever I find a photo of myself that I like, I feel a bit astounded! It's not even that I don't like my appearance--I just don't like how photos capture me.
Such a fun coat! And I agree- I appreciate your outfit posts for the last reason that you mentioned! I don't do outfit posts because one, I hate how I look in photos and two, my clothes aren't stylish enough!
