Ryan Gosling is taking ballet classes.

There are a few things I wanted to blog about this week but I have basically held the presses for this bit of breaking news.

I've never been a huge Ryan Gosling fan apart from an edited version of Fracture in which he was amazing.
Seriously, he made the District Attorney's office seem pretty awesome.

But anyway...

According to reports all over the internet Ryan Gosling is taking ballet classes.
Not for a movie role but because he wants to learn for his personal enjoyment.
Can you imagine being his teacher?
Can you imagine being the student that has class right after him?

I hope he falls in love with a ballet dancer.

Ryan- you are now legit in my eyes.
(I'm sure he cares. Ha!)

Any Ryan Gosling fans out there?
Anyone else inspired to take some adult ballet classes now?
A few reasons why ballet classes are important for adults.

I've heard his name so often and could never put a face to it - now I can! plus a dancing body, which makes it even better :)

haha I took ballet lessons for a fair part of my life and I will NEVER get over how hilarious it is to see men in tights! It's brilliant in person! Of course beautiful dancers but nevertheless funny. I've never been a huge fan of Ryan Gosling but it does seem that my love for someone does increase when they take on something dance or musical related. For instance (and I think you will love this Dancing Branflakes) Hugh Jackman performing at the Oscars

Amazing! Love him so much because of it. The end of the song is EPIC!

I'm definitely a Ryan Gosling fan :) That's so awesome that he's taking ballet. I've always wanted to but I thought I was too late to get a chance lol.

I have adored Ryan Gosling since his Mickey Mouse Club Days. The fact that he is super nice to his dog (George), and takes ballet classes, however? Hello, he is my dream guy! :P

I've no idea what the fuss is about this guy. Why is his name suddenly all over the place? No offence meant to those ladies who are clearly smitten but I'm afraid I'm left a bit bemused.

Not too often you hear about an actor doing something like that just because they want to though so all credit to him. Hope whoever teaches him is non-plussed by the assignment.

cute post!! depending on his role (love the notebook, of course!), i'm a fan of him. the feminist and handmade ryan gosling tumblers are hilarious!

I'm sure he will fall in love with the teacher. It seems like any movie he's in he ends up dating the supporting role for a little while lol.

Stop it! That's genius!

Ryan Gosling is MY man hahahaha! ;)

But seriously, that's great. A lot of young actors do other, less productive things with their free time, so this is pretty cool!

Ryan Gosling has become strangely more attractive to me lately! Maybe it is because I find Boyfriend attractive.. and Boyfriend and Ryan Gosling have similar facial bone structure.. It's like "Oh, I never noticed before, but you are handsome, Ryan Gosling!".
I hope he falls for a dancer too. It would be good for him.

that's so awesome! i'm not a ryan gosling worshipper, but i do love his music and his acting in "lars and the real girl." it cannot be denied that he's one talented dude. he also lives in my neighborhood and does a lot of work with underprivileged kids here, so he seems to be a decent human being despite his fame.

I haven't actually heard of him, but he is looking good and it would certainly brighten my day to pass by him after a ballet class ... we can dream on ....
I would like to have been a ballerina, so I can understand his wanting to do it for 'personal enjoyment'. Good for him!

I think it's awesome Ryan is taking ballet classes. Just because. Actually, I've been wanting to as well (though I blame you and Susan for inspiring me, not Ryan) and I've finally found two places in my new area that do classes. So once I get back from my time at home in NJ, I'm signing up!

This is definitely interesting news. It's sort of the opposite of dancers becoming actors! I wonder where he takes classes?
