I think anyone who blogs or reads blogs regularly has come across more than a few frustrations.
But sometimes it's hard to address them without offending or putting off your readers and friends.
With that said, how about we address them right here anonymously?
Like all Anonymous Tuesdays what you say might end up helping more people than you realize.

I just don't like mean people.
Slow page loading, comments with links/ads, photos not credited
I hate when people get the "I'm so important" vibe going on because they have a ton of readers. I've noticed this in correspondence with other bloggers mostly. I know that it is hard to keep up with correspondence and I respect that, it's usually in the attitude of the response that gets me.
Also, "fashion" bloggers who post pictures of themselves every.freaking.day. and have very little actual content in the text of their posts. If half of your outfits are from H&M, Urban Outfitters, Anthro, etc... and you are posting on a daily basis, it just gets boring.
Okay I'm done!
PS - Nothing about your blog frustrates me. It's like a big breath of fresh air!
Complaining. Everyone has problems, many far worse than others; having to visit a blog only to be burdened with post after post of complaints is just a downer.
The blogosphere is supposed to be an uplifting place - being bombarded with complaints about work, life...is the complete opposite. I have loads of problems and stresses, as well; but I keep them away from my blog to keep things upbeat - a ray of sunshine in an overcast world!
im not a fan of comments that say "follow me, like my page, visit my blog!!" theres a more tact-ful way of getting people to visit your blog. xo
oh i HATE when i have to do the word verification thing on people blogs - drives me batty!! --- or when they don't have their e-mail linked back if you wanna reply to a comment ..
I can't stand most fashion blogs, because after awhile they all start listing the items they're wearing as "c/o". Also, I don't even read sponsored posts.
I know this is supposed to be anon, but I have no shame. :]
I actually don't appreciate bloggers that post outfit posts and half of what they're wearing is c/o. It frustrates me because I don't understand how these businesses choose certain bloggers and then those bloggers pretend like what they're wearing is their style. It seems really fake.
People who ask you to follow them. People who complain too much. Word verification. And although I love comments it's often quite hard to answer everyone back and that burden weighs heavily on me every day.
It drives me up the wall when I get comments saying "visit my blog, follow me and I'll follow you, and etc". It is cheap, tacky, and untasteful. My other complaint as a blogger is I wish I knew how to get more traffic into my blog - something I am trying to learn everyday
I feel like I just just wrote about this which is really funny. I'm very sensitive to being perceived as superficial so when I finally "outed" my blog to my family it was really nerve wracking. I wish I could take better pictures.
Honestly? I get sad when I lose followers. I know we're not supposed to care about how many followers we have but it makes me second guess the blog posts I make when it happens.
Mine is finding my voice. I hate it, but I think I come across as arrogant or self important sounding in my posts.
I also hate that I hate when I spend a lot of time on a post and no one comments. I should not care about that. But I do.
Ooh, an invitation to vent? Ok, here goes: As some others said, I hate when people comment and say "follow me!" That just bugs me. I appreciate every single follower I have, and I understand the urge to want more followers, but I think it's so tacky to say that. Another thing that bugs me is when someone credit photos as being from Pinterest. That's like saying Source: the internet. If you just click on the photo on Pinterest, it's usually pretty simple to find the original source, and I think the original source is the one that should be credited. Ok thanks for letting me complain :)
Ugh, unfortunately I have a few things that frustrate me about blogging! It's a love/hate relationship.
I love blogs like yours that are sweet and offer a good mix of pretty pictures and thoughtful content...but there are so many out there that seem to have an attitude that really turns me off. When bloggers think they are high and mighty and don't connect with their readers at all even though they are clearly doing it for the readers and not just blogging for themselves. And I'm kinda sick of people complaining about anonymous comments...of course, I in no way think people should be mean (by blogging we're putting ourselves out there for all the world to judge) but you're going to get people who disagree with you. It doesn't always mean they are slamming you down or attacking you personally, it just means they have a different opinion and have decided to let you know. I'm sure they are anonymous because otherwise there would be mean backlash instead of healthy conversation. I totally don't support mean comments but some varying opinions are pretty refreshing sometimes.
And I'm kinda frustrated by those who think they are blogging experts... we all blog in different ways for different reasons and I wish people could see that and be a little more open minded.
And I have to agree with Jackie...Pinterest is NOT the original source!!
Mean comments really is my main peeve. I mean really? Is it necessary?
agree, with a lot of the comments made, like Word Verifictation, Blogger saying to follow their Blog but also, comments like: "Great Post, Thanks" or "Looking Good" just those few shout outs.. which I can understand from time to time as their are many blog out their thank people follow and me, too .. it is hard to keep up with your own content, images etc.. but then also trying to visit your friends blogs and leave a long comment, but I always try to give specific answer to the content posted! ;)
Great idea, Tiffany with that questions! xoxo
I'm having trouble deciding what I want to "do" with my blog and lately it's keeping me up at night. I don't know what direction I want to take it in or if I've actually found my true blogging "voice." I'm having a deep existential blogging problem and I'm not sure posting this will help! Ahhh! Does everyone go through this at times? Maybe we need a blogging support group!
Word verification (mainly b/c sometimes I think I'm done & exit out before it posts my comment and 'Follow me!' requests. I also get annoyed when I actually take the time to look at one of the 'Follow me!' blogs & it's crappy content with a bazillion followers, who is falling for that?!
To Jackie: That bugs me sometimes too but I chalk it up to deleted google accounts - I can't imagine actually taking the time to unfollow a blog but maybe I'm just lazy ;)

I don't have many problems with the blogging world. I accept that as everyone in the world we are all different so I just take it from that point of view.
Ana's comment made me smile–what an amazing perspective! Except, of course, those fools that write, "Nice post, follow me!" I do not accept them for who they are.
here's something anon. i hate comments like this, except from the last 2 comments all of this is the same bullshit you are talking about. this is why the world doesn't get better, what? you people hate famous bloggers? people that make actual money? if you don't like them don't fucking read them. im a marketer i dont even own a blog but i see these comments and it is disgusting how people complain. let people fucking be. you dont know them you dont know the sorty of their lives how they make their money or how bad they need it. is there a blog in this earth that is not about the writer? i doubt it. so stop complaining bitches.
I didn't know that word verification was a problem...is that a setting you can change? I thought it was everywhere.
The only negative is I wish there were more hours in a day. It's impossible to get around to all the beautiful blogs out there and leave meaningful comments, meanwhile emailing and commenting in return to your readers. It's a job that produces no income. But such a JOY it is when there IS time.
welllllllllllllllllllll, i have one frequent commenter (no, not you) that i just can't stand. i hate her comments. i should be grateful that she takes the time to visit my blog, but i really just wish she would vanish.
yes, i am a jerk like that!
there was one blogger in the past that left me one too many snotty comments. i guess you take the good with the bad, but i kind of got sick of her and her attitude. she doesn't come around too much anymore, which is nice.
pretty sure more than a few can't stand me/my blog, so i guess that is just how it goes in blog land! :)
I don't think there is any need to swear at each other in comments sections. (looking at Anon - 11.57)
Everyone is entitled to an opinion whether they like sponsored posts or not.
Personally, I don't mind them. I depends on the Blogger, but it's easy to see someone's personal style shine through. That's my opinion.
Great question! I totally enjoy reading all these comments. Blogging myself is fine, but reading other blogs... it can bring out emotions in me I really do not like - envy, jealousy, why are they so popular? how do they afford 1001 pair of shoes???
Which is good because then I can try to get over stupid stuff like that.
I would have to say that my only pet peeve in blogging would be comments like that left by a rude anonymous poster. Expressing opinions is great, but there's no need for so much anger over something so little. Cursing and misspellings show little care for what is being said.
Haha! I love how everyone is on the same page about word verification.
I feel weird writing this, and I hate to complain, but I do wish that I had more commentators/readers/followers... i don't even get mean comments. I am grateful for every single view I do get and I try to comment and read lots of blogs. I do get some blogger jealousy and I try not to make it obvious because it is fickle. I just do feel like I have something worthy of reading most days! I think maybe it's a sign that I need to make some improvements and adjustments.
I luv anna's comment the best!
Like i always say, blogging is NOT brain surgery & we're not finding the cure for cancer... so exhale & relax~~~~
To Anon at 10:33...YES! I have been blogging for a year and half and I just want to be happy with my blog, I want to take it in a different direction but I'm having trouble finding my voice as well. I feel like blogging IS a support group but then I feel like we definitely need a blogging support group! Sign me up! : )
I wish there wasn't so much to complain about with blogging! As has been kinda said above (and so wonderfully by Ana!), we're all different and we're going to do things differently so I wish we could all just accept each other as is. The blogging world can be so judgemental and as much as I wish it didn't get to me...it does.
I know I shouldn't complain cause I'm honestly grateful for veery visitor and comment I get on my page but it irks me a little when I get totally irrelevant or random comments on my posts. Thanks for the forum!
love that photo. my blogging issue are mostly with my computer, so finding the perf photo and scheduling a photo/post then seeing it on another blog the day before my scheduling! dang!
xoxo navy & orange
Lovely blog :)

Bad grammar annoys the heck out of me. I definitely find myself using conversational writing in my blog, meaning that I know my high school English teacher wouldn't approve of my sentence structure all of the time.... but do you really need to write your whole post in lower case letters, or using your instead of you're, or, god forbid, using texting language???
definitely word verification! boo. :)
and people who beg for followers.
such is life though, right?! this is a really fun idea girl. go go go .
xoxo
To some of the folks above who are worried about page views and lack of comments: relax! Comments are great, but they aren't a true measure of the quality of your blog. They aren't even really a measure of whether or not people are reading your blog. Maybe what you said was bang on and your readers just agree with you! I think, given some of the other comments, many "commenters" simply comment to try and get YOU to follow THEIR blog. Ultimately, we don't write for page views, comments, blog notoriety, etc... we write because we love to write, and it's cathartic to enjoy our shared experiences with others.
i think it's dumb to criticize the content of other people's blog... if you don't like it or are bothered, than just don't visit it!
and i agree with many of you, when people visit a blog just to promote themselves and their own blog and leave comments that clearly show that!
but blogging for the most part is fantastic! :)
Haters comments hurt... when something goes wrong with the site is also a major annoyance.
But I met so many amazing people - all thanks to blogging!
Great blog you have by the way, I found you randomly!
xx
My biggest pet peeve is the bigheaded-ness of some successful bloggers ( in NO way refers to you, Tif! You are THE BEST!). It seems that the moment a blog becomes somewhat successful it some of the owners of it get a head bigger then the door frame, NEVER answering emails, NEVER replying to anything. And then add instagram following, twitter and FB and they got an army. And if they happen to be FEATURED anywhere - that's the end of it. Too Diva for common people. Drives me NUTS! There are some fabulous blogs, like yours, cup of joe, oh happy day, bleubird, etc, that are VERY successful yet, they find time to answer an email, a comment, etc - even IF it is a bit late( but honestly, who wouldn't understand if there are 200+ comments or 1000+ emails?) and then there are those - will remain unnamed, and honestly, they don't need any more traffic - that are "too cool to answer", yet they are all smiles and sweetness on their blogs... Agh! Such double faces! I love your blog because you are very real, honest and IN TOUCH with your readers. That's why I love cup of jo's etc as well. You are doing an awesome job!
Another thing that is a huge pet peeve of mine is the LDS "non-wanna-be"s as I call them. Though not one, i do not consume alcohol at all ( but do yes to occasional coffee). I think it's a WONDERFUL thing, and VERY healthy. However, it drives me NUTS to see a blog post by someone, who I KNOW is an LDS, and it is listed in their Q&A as well with a picture of a whine glass with beverage in it, blabbing how they are finishing up the "sparkly" from the weekend , etc. Or a pic of starbucks cup with blabbing under - "enjoying some warmth on a cold DC morning", etc. And THEN in a miniscule writing WAAAAAAY on the bottom of the blog or post there is a "disclamer" :" i do not drink alcohol", or " it is hot chocolate in my cup". PEOPLE BE REAL! I have ZERO problems with people NOT drinking! I think its awesome! but DO put on your blog that your are finishing up the sparkling CIDER from the weekend, because you believe in HEALTH, not alcohol! DO say that a true GOOD party is the one withOUT alcohol! DO say that you LOVE STARBUCKS HOT CHOCOLATE, and to NOT drink coffee! And be HONEST AND LOUD about it. All I see in these situations, and that being not allowed to drink alcohol/coffee is somehow restricting to you, and you REALLY wish you could, so you imitate the best you can, but then on your blog it has the "we believe" button, so you can't really justify the illusion ( at least some consciousness left) , so you put a disclaimer ... Blah. SO. LOW. BTW, those are also the bloggers that like not to answer, although they are all different. I thought about 6 different people while writing thing comment. Done now. THanks for your tuesdays! You are the best! XOXOXO
wow, a very passionate peeve I see. you let it all out girl!
I have to say I agree with how sometimes bloggers are for wanto f better words - up their own arses. That's quite disappointing. Blogging is meant to be personal and natural and something you enjoy and some bloggers seem to think they stand on a higher ground for some odd reason. But other than that no peeves just frustrated because I feel uninspired to write recently =( it'll come back I'm sure
reading and following up with blogs... it's hard to do when you have things to do and then it all piles up... like it is for me now for example!
another thing is people asking me to follow and if i don't then they get upset... it feels horrible when they do!
