Imaginary Weekend Trip to NYC

Last week I tweeted, "If you could go ANYWHERE right now where would it be? I'll blog about the first place that responds."  There were some great suggestions (Iceland, anyone? Paris? Of course!) but Some Kind of Style was the first and she tweeted back "NYC!"

So, let's pack our chic weekenders and clear our schedules because this weekend we're taking a trip out to NYC.

Where we're staying:
We got a penthouse suite with a view and a complimentary box of chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us.
via Gramercy Park Hotel

Where we're eating:
It's my favorite restaurant in NYC.
French food with a twenty dollar bread basket.
But that basket is the best basket you'll ever eat.

What We're Doing
Duh.

What I'm Wearing:

earrings, bracelet, dress, scarf, glasses, shoes, tights, clutch

You ready?
What other ways should we splurge during our little getaway to NYC?

Loooove this. I grew up about 2.5 hrs from NYC and used to go there a lot. Now a ton of my best friends and my brother-in-law live there so I have plenty of excuses to visit.

I am dying to go to Eataly - it is supposed to be fabulous.

Let's take a trip :)

very NYC-ish, Tiff! It's hard to chose one of my fave places to eat there... but one of many is "Veselka" restaurant in Greenwich village , on 144 second ave. It's ukrainian authentic food that is VERY well done - highly recommend! LOVE your style pic too!

Ooh, we splurged and stayed at the Gramercy for my birthday last summer. Well worth is - especially access to the very private Gramercy Park!

I love New York. We stayed in the Gramercy years ago before it was redone and made a gajillion star hotel. It was very old and very quaint back in that day.

In June my husband and I were in NYC for eight glorious days. You could spend all eight in The Met and still never see it all.

Thanks for the memory jog.
