How stinkin' adorable are these St. Patrick's Day petit fours?
They look like potatoes but they are, in fact,
cake covered in marzipan and coated in cocoa powder.
I'm going to a St. Patrick's Day Dinner Party this weekend and
I'm in charge of the dessert.
If I put on my big girl ambitious panties then maybe I'll be making these.
And I love the presentation.
Total fake out!
Do you have any good St. Patrick's Day desserts?
I'd love any suggestions in case I chicken out and don't make these 'potatoes.'
Thanks to Heather Baird of SprinkleBakes for the photos and recipe.
You are amazing!

Ohmigosh Tiffany what a cute recipe! I love that they have a little surprise inside. I make Paula Deen's Hidden Mint Cookies a lot for holidays - especially St. Patrick's Day. They are super easy, and delicious! :)

I actually have a lil tutorial on my blog today on how to make rainbow cupcakes easily! It's really some icing and a Sour strip! =)

Hi :) i was just going through blogs because Im trying to get my online store out here, it is my new online store of high quality replicas. So I thought i could stop by the blogs of people who are into fashion and see if it is any interesting to your needs. It would be cool if you could check it out, it is very small right now, but i am planning on having a bigger online store by the end of the month. Thank you! :) (And maybe this is the kind of fashion that you need to complete your wardrobe!)

these are so much fun!! love the cuteness of it ;)
I have just posted a st. patty's cupcake recipe.
do share what you come up with!!
I'm DYING, they look so cute and very yum! Germans like 'Marzipankartoffeln' = marzipan in potato shapes, that might be a nice treat for St. Patrick's Day, too (just leave out the German connection).
Have you heard of ice cream potatoes?
totally the same concept (vanilla ice cream shaped into potatoes, covered in cocoa) THOSE are adorable. :)
