My Happy Place: Swimming in the Summer

Last week a five year old walked into my Magical Ballerina class in absolute tears;
she missed her mamma and didn't want to leave her side.
I held her hand and brought all the little ballerinas in a circle where we talked about the one thing I knew would make anyone happy:

Swimming in the summertime.

Once I said those magical words, the little girl stopped crying and told me all about the fun swim parties she would be going to in the upcoming weeks.

Since then, I've been dreaming about all the swim parties I want to attend this summer
and I can't help but get giddy and smiley all over.

Basically, swimming in the summertime = My Happy Place

bracelet, hat, dress, suit, glasses, shoes, bag

Hooray for swimming season!
What's your happy place right now?

@marketa- Ha! Well, that's what's so awesome about a happy place- you can dream of it anytime, anywhere.

You're so sweet, glad the imagination practice worked. I can't wait for the summer time and swimming. Hopefully, I'll be able to visit the beach more than 2 times this summer. The bathing suit is so cute!

You are clearly gifted with children! Are you and the Mr. thinking of having your own one day??
I love children and I really seem to do well with them... However, I don't think I want to have my own. Crazy I know! It is just a huge responsibility. Unless I could be assured I could offer them the world, I don't want to make little lives that need more than I have to offer.

What an impossibly sweet story–your little ballerinas are so lucky to have you! I've been dreaming lately about my parents' pool, which they built as much like a swimming hole as they could–I hope I get a chance to dive into it this summer!

I love being near the water, but I'm not going to lie...unless I'm on someone's back it freaks me out - I can't swim. Seriously.

My happy place right now is dancing. Every single say my goal is to finish my days tasks as quickly as possible just so I can dance. :P
