Ballerinas in Hawaii

(whose interview I have yet to transcribe and post on here- bad blogger!)
recently went to Hawaii for his latest project and I am in love with every single photo.
You all know about my love for this photographer and this series is by far my all time favorite.

And now all I want to do is dance on water.

There's something to be said about dancing in nature.
I believe it brings out the inner goddess in all of us.
Happy Monday, friends.

I love the ballerina project! I love the contrast of the NYC photos -- graceful dancer in a gritty geometric city -- but you're right about dancing in nature... There's something different about it... Less tension, more flow perhaps?

I think I remember seeing some of his work before. This project is amazing! So dreamy and a little surreal, especially that one in the water...which, incidentally, is about the only place I ever feel graceful. Makes me want to hop on a plane across the country!

How incredibly beautiful! I need to get myself a pair of ballet shoes and get back to that Tuesday night ballet class... I won't ever be able to do real ballerina stuff but I want to hold a seriously stunning arabesque someday soon.
