Anyone have any bets on what's making me laugh so hard?
Oh, Mr. Branflake, you are a 'handful', aren't you?
What a sly guy.
Haha! I'm kidding! We are affectionate, but not THAT affectionate.
(In public, at least.)
Thank you all for your amazing comments about Mr. Branflake's graduation.
It's such a special thing to share it with you and celebrate together as one, big, blogging community.
Your comments were the cherry on top of a beautiful day.
How was it? Good golly, I don't even know where to start.
It was perfect.
It was perfect.
Having friends, family, and each other all in one place was such a treat.
Did I cry?
No.
But looking at the graduation program and seeing that my husband was given the Order of the Barristers, aka one of the highest awards given to law students across the nation, had me beaming from ear to ear.
Tomorrow, I'll be showing you my entire outfit
(don't talk to me about the stress of finding the perfect dress)
and talking about the graduation dinner, aka the best meal I've ever had.

It was so good.
It was ridiculously fancy, so fancy it required a sorbet in between courses to 'cleanse the palette.'
Yep, that's how the other side lives apparently.
I think I can get used to that.
It was a fancy shmancy weekend of celebrations.

How would you celebrate the biggest achievement of your life?
Fancy dinner? Grand ol' party? Relaxing vacation? Shopping spree?

I love that look on Dr. B's face in the first photo -- and I'm glad you had such a wonderful time celebrating his graduation!
I'm not entirely sure how I would celebrate my own. I'd probably cook dinner for a bunch of friends.
You guys look so happy! Congrats to your husband on such a big achievement! I hope you guys lived it up! : )
Your emotions came across on your face in an ear to ear grin! I love it! You both look so happy. Big celebrations always involve yummy food of some sort right. Your dress is fabulous by the way. now what's next for y'all?
Congrats to your hubs! I remember how proud I was watching my hubs walk the stage in December! So far, my biggest accomplishment has been my little man.:)
Mazel Tov- all the best.
You two are so cute! Congrats to Mr. Branflake!!! You look so proud!
You must be super proud of him! You 2are so cute together!
HORRAY for you and Mr Branflake–and what an incredible accomplishment! I must admit, I teared up a little just thinking about it (can you tell I'm a weaper?)! John and I love big dinners, small dinners, dinners at home–meals seem to be a theme! I'm making a reservation at an SF spot he's had his eye on for his graduation this Friday, and I can't wait!
SO sweet. x hivenn
You guys look amazing and so happy! You're just beaming! So funny, I was telling J about your story this weekend and how you thought you might cry at the graduation. Look at you holding it together. I would have been a babbling mess :) xoxo

I graduate next month and I have no idea how I'm celebrating!
Many, many congratulations!! What a feat!
How would I celebrate? I don't know ... I would be too much in shock, I think.
Cool...
Best wishes from Buenos Aires...

Yay and a huge congrats to Dr. Branflake!! (Is that the correct title now?!) Graduation is such a fun time, glad you had such an amazing weekend :)
xoxo J
Awww...Congratulations to Dr Branflake! What an accomplishment! And you look stunning as well :)
My husband didn't attend his doctoral graduation and I probably won't attend mine either. It's a little different in our home, we don't really celebrate the seemingly big things.
Now you've really got me thinking about it! I would say a trip, but we take around 4 international trips a year so we do that anyway. I'm going to ask him about his as soon as he comes home! (His response will probably be 'have you finished your three chapters that are due at the end of the month?' and my answer will be 'no' lol)
Congratulations again - to the both of you. It's not always easy living with a spouse who is in academia <3
Ya'll are so cute! Congrats to Mr. Branflake! What an accomplishment!
Looks like a awesome moment....
You guys are so joyful looking! and he does look sly.
I remember how excited I was when Cory graduated (valedictorian!) with his BSBA a year ago today--and in two years I'll get to walk again with an MAT! I find graduations supremely boring but all the stuff that goes with them is so fun!
so...another CONGRATULATIONS! to you both!
hehe this made me giggle! you guys are so cute and the pictures are so obviously filled with happiness!
Aw, you both are so cute together! Congrats again :)
yay!!! hooray for the lawyer man!! You guys look really happy. Glad to see it. Miss you!
Congrats to the two of you--it takes sacrifice on the part of a graduate student's partner, too. Such happy faces! xo
Awww...these are the absolute cutest pictures ever, Tiffany - you have such a beautiful smile. And your dress! Gah! The color is just exquisite! :)
Happy Tuesday!
:)
I totally thought he was getting some gropage in. When I celebrate, there is always food involved. :)
I can just see the love between the both of you. Surpised you didn't cry, I guess you really arn't a cryer. I'm graduating college this Friday but I'm having a small family get together at my apartment before the ceremony. If I have the money, would so take everyone out for yummy food and drinks.
