Everything I wear has a story behind it and makes for good conversation at parties.
Celtic knots from Scotland, cancer bracelets from friends, and wedding rings from, you know, my wedding.
That why I got real excited when I found these bracelets over at Uncommon Goods.
I've seen guitar string bracelets and I love them, but bicycle chain bracelets?
As a bike riding lover, I my heart beat faster just thinking about wearing such a fun piece of jewelry.
I love the quirkiness of both bracelets and I love how they express two of my loves:
Biking and music.

I'm not very good at wearing jewelry. I prefer earrings or a simple ring. I have several cuffs that I adore, but I never seem to wear them. They decorate my dresser top more than my wrists.
Actually, last summer (a few weeks after we met) Boyfriend was in Bermuda with his family. He picked up a cuff from the island and sent it to me. I have it near my keyboard at work. Just a little "vacation" for my mind when things get stressful.

I just adore that guitar string–no surprise though! I'm allergic to silver, so from a young age I only collected yellow gold–these days, it's all I wear! It's usually pearl studs, my rose gold engagement ring and maybe a gaggle of pearl bracelets or gold bangles–I like my jewelry with a bit of history, too!
So pretty! I love them both - especially the string bracelet is wonderful for every day. I have to admit that I'm a bad jewellery wearer which is why I got myself a tattoo - it's like permanent jewellery.

These bracelets are both so cute. I actually have a really hard time buying jewelry. I don't think well in terms of bigger pictures when it comes to outfits and unless I really love something, I don't buy it. That said, I love the way people are able to pull outfits together with subtle touches like these.
Maybe you need to take me shopping.
