Dinner Party Conversations (via Mr. Branflake et moi)

Yesterday I took a ballet class from the nicest French woman. She spoke little English and as I tried to talk to her in her native tongue, I realized all my ten years of French was completely lost. Zut alors!! If I want to go back to Paris, I'm going to need some serious brush ups.

Until then, all my dinner party conversations will be in English. Here's a hint at what we'll be talking about...

May your conversations be sparkling with a sprinkling of Branflakes.

As an economics major, I toooootally have to disagree with that last article. I think we're taught morals at a young age, and those don't fade over time. At least they haven't for me. Also, I don't consider myself to be greedy at all, selfish definitely but not greedy! :]

@Hollie- I'm thinking our dinner party conversations would be amazing.

I heard about the enforcement of the Olympic rings, and I think it's sad. If individuals or small businesses, especially ones in Britain want to show their support of the Games, why should they be punished? Use common sense people!

French is a difficult language. In Europe it seems most people speak at least two or more languages.. fluently! Amazing..

Fun links and great dinner conversation!

I just love that you took a great ballet class and that you tried to speak in French...I took years of French, and always try to speak it when I am in France, but my long term goal is to be fluent in it! Perhaps one day you and I will be able to have a conversation in the language as well! :)

There's definitely a mutual Comic-Con interest, and how lovely Mr. B. is interested in the London Olympics (and all things athlete)... I find accessing my French terribly difficult, too.
