After last weekend's pigout, I stuck to eating healthy this week. Inspired by Diana, I bought some avocados and put them in my salad every night. Okay, not the most revolutionary way to eat them, but I liked getting my fats from plants and not animals.
It's a small step toward eating better and cleaner.
What's Caramel Day, you ask? I'll be instragramming the delights for inquiring minds.
Also, on Sunday night I'm hosting a British Isles Dinner Party. Anyone have suggestions on a good main dish for seven people? Any help would be appreciated!
Have a healthy weekend, my friends!
Also, did you know I have a Facebook Page?
Go ahead and like it. You know you want to (hee hee)
ps... I wrote a few heartfelt posts this week. Thank you for your constant support. This girl loves you.

Just those pictures of avocados have me salivating. They're the best! After pizza & frozen yogurt tonight, I need to work on healthier eating this coming weekend . . .

Ok, British mains...
Toad in the Hole
A big joint of roast beef
Beef pudding or steak pie, Shepherd's pie or Cottage pie, or even a fish pie
Beef Wellington (my fav)
Hotpot or beef and red wine
Slow roasted pork with crackling
if you need any help or best options for the recipes, give me a shout!
Oh boy avocados are my favourite, more than chocolate! Oh I can't top Smidge's ideas, they are deliciously perfect.

Mmmm...I might need to pick up some caramel to go with the apples we will be picking this weekend at the apple orchard!
Avocados is a health nuts butter. I LOVE it. Especially in a cobb salad. But it's not too terrible to pig out every once in a while like you previous weekend. I plan on doing that THIS weekend hehe

Caramel day? I would so be first in line as well!
Happy healthy weekend! xxx
Enjoy the weekend, darling! Don't you love Diana's recipes? :) XOXO
i had the most DELICIOUS lunch today. a salad with butter lettuce, grilled chicken, cashews, pink grapefruit and avocado. with a raspberry vinaigrette. TO DIE FOR. sometimes healthy food is super delicious and oh-so satisfying.
p.s. i chased it down with a coke, and followed it up with a few bite size butterfingers. so...i am not all that healthy. lol! oh well.
British Isles _ a good old roast lamb with all the trimmings - roast potatoes, roast parsnips and Yorkshire Pudding (savoury) would be delish with some gravy.
avocado is one of my fav things to eat, it's delicious! :)
I love avocado but I suddenly turned allergic, too much hair dying chemicals. booo.

We just had a healthy dinner tonight: Tuscan Vegetable Saute with pasta (no sauce). It had squash, peppers, zucchini, tomatoes, and chickpeas! And I added feta cheese on top :) Dinner party sounds fun!
Have a lovely weekend my dear!
Have you tried grilled avocado before? It is SUPER delicious! Especially if you sprinkle a tiny bit of Lawry's seasoning ove it.
Such a fan of your blog :)
