A few weeks ago, I asked if you had any questions for me or Mr. Branflake. You guys had such great ones! I'm answering them in three parts in chronological order since there were so many. We have everything here from religion to dance to Scotland. This is my kind of post!
Jessica Havican asked
Since you are a BYU graduate...I'm wondering what year you graduated? Did you get your Bachelors in Dance at BYU? Did you also get a masters? Did Mr. Branflake go to BYU too?
Dancing Branflake
Yes! I graduated in dance in 2007 at BYU. Mr. Branflake graduated in 2006 in physics. In fact, if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have gone to college to get my degree. His support was everything.
Tabitha asked
Were you born a Mormon or did you become a Mormon - hope it's ok to ask something like that.
Dancing Branflake
Of course that's okay to ask! I was baptized Mormon when I was 12. Even though I was raised agnostic, I had a really strong passion for religion when I was young and that eventually led me to the LDS Church. I'm the only one in my immediately family who is LDS, although they are very supportive.
Vanisha @ Vanishas Life In...Australia asked
I'm curious about your 'exercise' routine. I only ask because, you're a dancer, so do you dance as a form of exercise or do you do things in addition to that :)
Dancing Branflake
Urgh. I try to exercise. I walk a lot and I do my butt exercises. I'm tending an injury right now, so it's tough. But when I'm not, I try to aim for at least an hour of cardio a day to keep my heart healthy. I also stretch every single day. I can't go a day without a good stretch.
SabinePsynopsis asked
I'm curious... How are your moving plans progressing? And if I'm allowed another one... How did you discover your love for Scotland?
Dancing Branflake
We haven't heard from any jobs yet. Fingers crossed!
I fell in love with Scotland just by hearing about it. When I went there on my solo trip, something inside lit up and I haven't been the same since.
THE ALTERNATIVE WIFE asked
I've always wondered when you discovered your love for dance. It seems like a dream come true to be able to make a career out of it although I'd imagine that it's quite difficult to break into and it must be very grueling. Has it always been your passion?
Dancing Branflake
Since I started, I loved dance. It was more than a passion, it was an obsession. It's less so now, and more a part of me, like my laugh or my right arm. I can't imagine life without it.
It is difficult to continue on, especially when you have many people telling you what you can't do, but I know when a young dancer will be successful because he or she loves to dance. That love will push you through the hard days. If they don't love it, they won't last.
Blicious asked
yes, what is the best stretch for lower back pain?! :)
Dancing Branflake
Hip flexor stretches and butt stretches. I have three herniated discs and I have no pain when I do my stretches. If you want, I'll do a picture tutorial for this one. I've been meaning to for a while...
Amy Shaughnessy asked
Well, now I'm curious about what kind of pointe shoes you wear...And are you a tights over leotards or under?
Dancing Branflake
I wear Grishko Elites. I've always worn Grishkos, since I was 12. And tights over- helps when you have to make a quick trip to the bathroom, haha!
More to come!!!

this is such a fun type of post, and so interesting that you went your own way with religion at age 12!
This was so much fun to read. I love getting to know my blogger friends better! Thanks so much for sharing! xxx
Wonderful d and fascinating read, thank you.
So interesting--I was the opposite. Raised with a religion and then renouncing it on my own at age 12. I love hearing about other's spiritual and religious journeys. Fascinating!
How fun to get to know you better :-)
Love reading your answers! I would love to see the picture tutorial of those stretches!
I love that you're doing this! So fun to learn more about you and thanks for answering my question :)
Oh and the soup was amazing!!! Thanks for the recipe! Just about to heat it up again for lunch. First I have to go crisp the prosciutto :)

Great post! So interesting to read, it's funny how we can fall in love with a place even before visiting. Thanks for sharing. xx
I love how you describe your passion for dancing...that's exactly how I feel about writing. It's become such a part of me.
p.s. can't wait to see more answers!!!
I'm going to have the second that stretching request.
Love these kinds of posts. It's fun learning more about the writer.
Exciting! I love getting to know people :) I must have missed the post I could ask questions in... Darn! Maybe there will be another in the future!

This post so appeals to the "celebrities: they're just like us!" fiend in me (aka my nosy side). If the call is still out, I'd love to know how you grew your blog following and how you make time to provide such a constant and ever-changing assortment of post topics. :) Thanks Tiffany!
First, that is the cutest picture EVER of you, Tiffany! Second...I LOVED this Q&A - I feel like I learned so much about you. I had no idea you attended BYU! :)
Woo hoo tights over! I agree. I have just ONE more question. Do you think stretching daily makes you tighter? I've gone through times where I was stretching daily (workshops, etc.) and seemed to become less flexible.

I love the questions, but your answers are even better! I must admit that I'm so impressed by your faith, and your family's support!
good questions and great answers!
sometimes my hips aaaaaaaaache (not recently, THANKFULLY). i find it is very difficult to stretch the hip flexor area properly and thoroughly. if you have tips, do tell or do show!
p.s. i know sitting all day at an office job is part of the problem!
It's so lovely reading the questions and your answers - thank you for answering mine! It's wonderful how you follow your inner voice, be it your passions and profession, religion or the choice of your favourite country...
so i def missed the post where we could ask questions! cuz, um, i'm not seeing anything about food in this post. ;)
but i did love getting to know you a bit more, friend!
Oh, this is fun! I love that you became a Mormon at such a young age. It took guts to follow your heart especially at that age when your family was agnostic. You never stop amazing me. In regards to your comment today that you don't drink - I don't drink either, (the alcoholic ex is why - I've had enough booze to last a lifetime). Anyways, sometimes people think it's strange, don't you think? I think it makes them uncomfortable sometimes. xoxo
My MIL just had surgery on three herinated discs in her back. You poor thing!
I'd love to see those back stretches too!
i'm so glad you did this Q&A so fun and such a great idea. love getting to know you even more through yoru answers!
These question and answer posts are one of my favorite types of posts to read on the blogosphere. I'm so glad you did it. I've loved reading through your answers. I'm nursing a knee injury and it makes doing yoga a little difficult and I find psychologically I'm holding back a little too. Time to fix that xoxox
