~Entrance is free but there is a fee to pay for parking in the lot. There are free spaces right outside the gates.
~There's a scary roundabout getting there. I was driving. I almost died. Proceed with caution.
~The cemetery is open everyday, but hours vary depending on the month.
~The Visitor's Center is beautiful and the information desk is extremely helpful. Also, the bathrooms are nice (that's always important!)
~The Changing of the Guards for the Tomb of the Uknown Soldier happens on the hour, but go a little early to get a good spot.
~The Memorial Amphitheater is stunning with its marbling and grand architecture.
~There are many monuments and memorials. Go to the cemetery's website for a listing.
~Be prepared to walk. The cemetery is huge yet you'll want to see everything.
