Celebrities, Rock Stars, and Beaches, Oh My!

I had a freakin rock star weekend. It started in the morning when I went to the AT&T ProAm Golf Tournament in Pebble Beach. Celebrities (Bill Murray and Josh Duhamel to name a few), professional athletes (like Kelly Slater- eeek!), and PGA golfers came together to play three days of golf in the name of charity. Just to walk around the iconic greens that overlook the picturesque ocean was a dream come true.

Then later on that day we headed to Santa Cruz to check out music and record stores.

Bought a few new albums like Gaslight Anthem and Mahler.

I snapped this photo of a famous musician rocking out in the middle of the store.
Another awesome moment.

And walked around the streets popping in and out of shops and discovering new places.

No trip to Santa Cruz would be complete without a trip to the beach. Just down the street from The Boardwalk, there's a lookout point with a small lighthouse and a strip of rocky land.

That night we headed back to Marina and ate at one of the best restaurants in the area: Francisco's. I promise you, you'll love it. It's an Italian/Mexican restaurant. Weird, I know, but everything there was amazing.

Angel hair pasta, shrimp, scallops, and mushrooms in a creamy butter sauce.

The best part of the day? The sunset. It was by far the most beautiful sunset I had ever seen and my heart beats faster just thinking about it. It was so good, I'm making a separate post.

Stay tuned, my peeps. It's gonna get freaking gorgeous on this blog.

That meal looks ridiculously delicious. The next time you see Josh (Duhamel)tell him Heather says hi. If he asks. Which he might. Just say, the Heather you're supposed to marry, back in Texas.

Then snap a pic and run away. It'll be great :)
