When I was twenty, I read an article that said in dying relationships, the song, You Don't Bring Me Flowers, tends to be the female anthem while You've Lost That Loving Feeling is what men typically feel. Interesting thought, right? I think it's true. Of course, not all women want flowers, but we want what they represent and hope our men remember what that might be. If not, let's hope we tell them even if it takes some of the romance out of it.
And then I think how I can't lose that loving feeling. I can see how it's easy to. In the song, The Righteous Brothers call out a woman who doesn't close her eyes when she kisses him. Dang. Do men really notice that? They also call out the woman who criticizes her man over the little things he does. Haha! Oh man...
On that note, I hope none of us lose that loving feeling. The Righteous Brothers were on to something.
How do you keep that loving feeling?
