I had a whole post planned about my 1930's research for my story. I wanted to share with you the things that inspired me, helped me, and created a visual world waiting to be written by me. And then I saw this picture and it was as if nothing else mattered.
This is them. This is the protagonist and the man who changed her world, or how I imagined them. Maybe not in looks per se, but in emotion, setting, and love. I found it here and then later here and the caption read California Shore 1930's.
Of course, the kiss is the most dramatic part, but I'm mostly curious about the before and after. What did he say to her? What was her response? Were there words spoken at all? Would he always kiss her that way? Would she ever miss his arms around her shoulders?
I don't know the answers, but I'm excited I get to create a journey to find out.
What do you think their story is?
